My Christmas Makeup Look 2017

Hello you beauties!

As this is going to be my last post before Christmas Day, I thought the only acceptable post for me to write today would be my planned makeup look for the special day. I wrote one of these posts last year as part of Blogmas (which I apologise for not doing this year) but because I've had a whole year to experiment with new makeup so, while some of the items I'm using this year may be exactly the same as last year, there will probably be some different items in the look too.

Primer: Nivea Men Post Balm Shave
Foundation: Revlon Colour Stay Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin in the shade 'Ivory'
Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade '1-Fair'
Powder: Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in the shade 'Translucent'
Bronzer: Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Blush: BareMinerals ReadyBlush in the shade 'The Indecent Proposal'
Highlight: One of the gold shades (probably one of the lighter ones) from the Makeup Revolution Sophx highlighter palette
Eye Primer: Gosh Prime 'n' Refresh
Eyeshadows: I will probably create a nude eye look using my Makeup Revolution Ultimate 144 Eyeshadow Palette Matte 2017 and then, from my other Ultimate 144 Eyeshadow Palette with shimmer shades, I will use a gold, red or green shimmer-y shade for that pop of Christmas-sy colour
Mascara: Princess Marcella Borghese Superiore State of the Art Mascara
Eyebrows: Soap and Glory Eyebrow Archery Pencil in the shade 'Brownie Points'
Lip Colour:

What is your Christmas look this year?

I'll be back on Christmas Day with a 'What I Got For Christmas' post.

My Everyday Autumn Look

Hello you beauties!

Although I haven't been wearing makeup as much recently as I used to but I definitely do still have a go to look for this time of the year. So I wanted to share this with you all today.

1. Fusion Beauty Brightening Primer and purple CC stick
During the winter months, I tend to get really red and dry skin due to the cooler weather drying it out. So the first thing I do is use my purple CC stick (from an unknown brand as I received it as an extra item in a beauty box) and also my Fusion Beauty Brightening Primer (which is also purple) to get rid of this redness but also to moisturise my skin.

2. Rimmel London Match Perfection foundation in the shade 'Light Porcelain'
During the colder months, I always want to opt for a more glow-y look with my foundation. My Rimmel Match Perfection foundation is perfect for this sort of look as it's the perfect shade for me, is easy to blend out and doesn't cling to my drier spots.

3. Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in the shade 'Fair'
I don't think this product needs any explanation. Everyone knows how amazing this concealer is and it's the only concealer I ever use.

4. Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in the shade 'Transparent'
Again, I don't think this product needs an explanation. Although I have tried a NYX powder before, this Rimmel one is always my go-to powder as it really does what it says on the tin. However, because I want to maintain a dewy look in my autumn look, I have to remember to use a light hand with this product.

5. Benefit Hoola bronzer
I wrote a post back in July where I mentioned why I love my mini version of this bronzer, and I particularly think that it is the perfect bronzer for the darker months. This is because it is darker than some bronzers I usually go for (although still definitely wearable). I find that I need a darker bronzer during the winter months as otherwise I would feel washed out as I am pale and feel even more pale with the colder weather. Bronzer definitely adds a bit of warmth to your look.

6. BareMinerals Ready Blush in the shade 'The Whisper'
If you've been following my blog since the beginning, you will know that as soon as I received this blush, it became my all time favourite blush. I always thought that any blush that I had to use had to be a pink shade but oh how wrong I was. Since I discovered nude blushers, they have become my favourite. This blush is definitely perfect for autumn as it gives you lovely natural colour to your cheeks without making you look too... rosy, I suppose.

7. MUA Undress Your Skin highlighter in the shade 'Pink Shimmer'
This is one of the newest items in my collection (although I did buy it all the way back in August) and I will admit I don't use it much. But I've heard great things about it and it's so cheap which is why I bought it. I have used it a couple of times since I bought it and have decided it is definitely a highlighter I'm going to favour for an everyday look as it isn't as intense as some highlighters I own but just gives you the perfect natural glow.

8. CoastalScents Revealed Smoky Eyeshadow Palette
This is the part of my routine that may actually vary sometimes. I tend to use this palette all the time as I actually love it. I love to use this palette for the autumn as it features a lot of dark colours such as dark brown and burgundy - perfect colours for the autumn! It also has some great shimmer shades in it too.

9. Collection Supersize Fat Lash mascara
This is also a newer item in my collection like the highlighter and it has quickly become one of my favourite mascaras. If you want dramatic lashes with plenty of volume and curl then I wouldn't recommend this mascara but it's perfect mascara if you just want a natural look - which is obviously what I'm aiming for with this look. Plus it's really cheap too!

10. Freedom Duo Brow Powder in the shade 'Blonde'
Now we're onto the penultimate product in this look. This eyebrow powder isn't my favourite eyebrow product ever but it really does make your eyebrows look natural which is exactly the look I'm going for.

11. Coloured Raine liquid lipstick in the shade 'Mars'
The final item is definitely the item that completes the look. This liquid lipstick is my favourite autumn lip colour this year, as it is a lovely deep brown which I feel like definitely makes this look very autumnal (see my previous post about why I love this lipstick so much).

I would love it if you wanted to share your autumn looks with me!

I'll be back next week with another post for you all (get ready for everything Christmas themed).

My 3 Favourite Bronzers

Hello you beauties!

It has been a while since I uploaded a beauty post and because it is my last post of August 2017, I thought it was only right to bring a beauty post to you about possibly the most important makeup item of summer - bronzers!

Everyone wants that golden, tan-like glow during the summer to make them look healthy and not seem too washed out in the sun. Other than using fake tan, I believe that bronzer is the best way to do this!

Now, if you've been reading my blog for a while now (and if you have then thank you) you will know that I've always struggled to find a bronzer that I love, but I have managed to find 3 that work just fine for me.

The one I use the most is definitely the Hoola bronzer by Benefit. I own the mini version but I feel like this is great value for money, at just £10.50. It's extremely pigmented which means you only have to use a little bit so even the mini one lasts ages. It's really easy to blend out too so if you do feel like you've applied a little bit too much, it's easily fixed. Even though they do have the Lite version for people with paler skin (like me), I feel like the original version is fine for paler people as long as you use a light hand and know how to blend well.

Another bronzer that I like to use is the Bourjois chocolate bronzer. This one is a lot lighter than the Hoola bronzer so is perfect for people who don't want much bronzer (just a natural glow) or for people with paler skin. This is slightly cheaper than the Hoola bronzer too, at just £7.99 so it's a great drugstore purchase. And it smells like chocolate too, which is a bonus.

The final bronzer that I like to use is the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in the shade 'Golden Days'. It's not the best out of the 3, but for just £4 it definitely worth the money. It's very pigmented for the price and is easy to use. The only problem I've ever had with it is that sometimes it can go orange. But other than that I really do like this bronzer.

What bronzers do you like to use? What would you recommend I try next?

I'll be back next week with another post for you all.

Makeup: Minis vs Full Size

Hello you beauties!

I'm back with another makeup post for you all today and this time I have decided to discuss mini versions of full sized makeup items and why they can be beneficial.

Everyone always wants the full sized item of popular makeup items but often these can be very expensive and therefore a waste of money if you decide you don't like it. That's why I find the mini versions of products to be better value for money sometimes.

Yes, you still have to buy them and you might still consider it a waste of money if you don't like it, but wouldn't you rather waste £10 rather than £30 for example? If you decide you like the product after trying out the miniature version, you can then go and buy the more expensive full sized product and know that you will use it all not waste your well-earned money.

One brand that I personally believe is great for their mini versions of their products is Benefit and I own a few myself. I believe they're great value for money. I was lucky enough to be given a special offer where I bought 3 of the mini products for just £15 (Usually 3 for £25) in Boots when individually these minis cost over £10 each.

This offer has helped me to discover some of the best makeup products I have ever used and didn't break my bank! Benefit offers most of their products, especially the most popular ones, as mini products and I decided to buy the Rollerlash Mascara, Porefessional Primer and Hoola Bronzer.

The Rollerlash Mascara mini really is tiny but it is such a good mascara! Not the best mascara I have ever used (I definitely prefer Maybelline mascaras still) and I probably wouldn't buy the full sized item at £20.50 as I have many mascaras that I like more that are also a lot cheaper but I am glad to have been able to try this mascara as it definitely would be worth the money.

The Porefessional Primer definitely has become my favourite primer of all time now and the only reason I haven't yet bought the full sized item is because I still have primers I got in beauty boxes that are quite good and I want to use before I buy any more. Once I do run out of my primers though, my go to one will definitely be the Porefessional one because, even though it is pricey at £26, it does it's job so why not pay extra and know you're getting your monies worth?

The best purchase I made with this offer though was definitely the Hoola bronzer. The girl at the counter actually recommended this to me, saying that all you need is the mini version as it lasts ages. Now I don't usually use bronzers because most that I have found always become too orange when I use them or are too dark or too light for my skin. But this bronzer is honestly the best I've ever found and the girl definitely wasn't wrong. As it is more expensive than most bronzers, it is a lot more pigmented and so you only have to use the tiniest amount meaning the product lasts for so long! If I ever find that I run out of this mini bronzer, I will definitely buy the full size one (priced at £24.50) because I honestly think it'll be the only bronzer I ever have to buy again!

I do own a few mini versions of their newest brow products but I have not actually tried these because I got them either free in a magazine or in a beauty box and they're all actually too dark for me!

But I am very impressed with Benefit as a brand so I will definitely try the mini versions of anything they produce if I ever get the chance to.

Are there any mini products that you've tried and loved and think are worth the money? Then let me know as I'd love to try out your recommendations!

I'll be back next week with another post for you all.

Full Face of High End Products

Hello you beauties!

I did a similar post to this last week but the focus on that one was drugstore makeup, whereas today's post is going to be a full face of high end makeup. I was actually very surprised that I managed to find every item needed for a full face but I did (although a lot of things on this list happens to be BareMinerals products) and so here it is.

*Pictures to follow at a later date*

1. My choice of primer is the BareMinerals Prep Step primer. While it isn't the best primer I have ever used, it really is moisturising which is why I tend to use it a lot.
2. The high end foundation I always go for is the BareMinerals Original Foundation in the shade 'Light' - one reason because it is the only high end foundation I own but also because it offers great coverage while being very lightweight.

3. My high end foundation of choice is the BareMinerals (I told you!) concealer in the shade 'Bisque', which doesn't offer the best coverage but works really well with the foundation as they are both powder products.
4. To finish my base, I always use the BareMinerals (I know, this is getting ridiculous!) Hydrating Mineral Veil, which I love as it is easy to just dust over while giving my skin a little more 'life' to it.
5. When I'm using high end products, I am usually doing so to impress. So I contour rather than just giving a warm glow. For this, I always swear by using the Benefit Hoola bronzer (yes, finally, something other than BareMinerals!) which you all know it is one of my favourite bronzers of all time despite it being a little more pricey than my Bourjois bronzer.

6. Back to BareMinerals, for blush I always reach for my BareMinerals blushers and my favourite one has to be the shade 'The Whisper'.
7. For highlight, I love using the Stila liquid luminizer in the shade 'Kitten Shimmer' which surprisingly works well over powder products and I use for a lovely warm glow.
8. For eyeshadows, I am a massive fan of BareMinerals eyeshadow quads. I usually reach for their one called 'A List'.
9. I recently discovered the Princess Marcella Borghese mascara which has now become one of my favourite mascaras to use.

10. I usually stick to my Freedom or Soap and Glory eyebrow products, but when I want to use a high end brow pencil, I always use the Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil.
11. Finally, no look is complete without something on the lips, I really really love the Giorgi Armani lipgloss in the shade 'Pink' which isn't a sticky gloss and adds a hint of glitter/shimmer while not being too over the top.

I don't usually use high end products - do you? If so, what would you recommend?

I hope you all liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends.

My Favourite High End Products

Hello you beauties!

Today is the last post of my 'Brand Fortnight'! I hope you all enjoyed this little series so far and I hope to bring some more series in the future (I would love your suggestions to see what you would like to see). Today's post is not one brand in particular, but I will be focusing on the high end makeup that I have in my collection. I would've focused on just one high end brand but I only own like one or two items per brand. Maybe I can do one more focused in the future when my makeup collection grows.

I talk about this product a lot, but my favourite high end product of all time has to be the Stila 'Eyes Are The Window' palette. I have the 'Soul' palette and I really do love it. It has to be my most favourite eyeshadow palette of all time as the eyeshadows are so pigmented and so easy to blend and just the perfect shades. And its only £30!

The first ever high end product that I ever owned is the Mac Patent Polish Lip Pencil in 'Hopelessly Devoted' and it really is a lovely product that I am pleased to own. While it isn't the most wearable colour ever, as it is quite a fuchsia pink colour (which I usually just wear on nights out), it is very moisturising and the quality of the product is amazing. I must admit this is probably the best lip product that I have ever used.

The Benefit Hoola Bronzer is probably the best bronzer that I have ever used, as it's the only one that I have found that doesn't make me look orange. I only have the miniature version of this product but it has lasted for so long that I'm glad that I didn't spend a lot of money on it. It's a great product to contour with as it's not too harsh and easy to blend out.

I also own the Korres eye primer which honestly isn't the best primer I have (I would definitely choose my GOSH one over this one), but it still is one of my most used items in my makeup collection. It's easy to use and a brilliant base for your eyeshadow.

I now own two Bare Minerals blushers and I really do love them. They're both similar shades (nude shades with one being slightly shimmer-y) and I usually use these more than other blushers on a daily basis. They're perfect for everyday use and can be used as subtle or as harsh as you want.

Finally, a new face primer has made its way into my collection recently and yes, it is a high end one. It is the Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer which is one of the best primers I have ever used as not only does it offer a great base for your face makeup, it is also very refreshing and moisturising. I am definitely buying a full sized version in the future and I would recommend that you all do too.

I'd love to hear about everyone's favourite high end products! Just tell me about them in the comments below.

I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

I hope you liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends.

End of Year Favourites 2016

Hello you beauties!

Really can't believe it's 2017! In a few months time, it'll be the one year anniversary of my blog and I am honestly so excited for that day (there will be a very special post that day). If you've been a follower of this blog since that day, then thank you so much for the support and I hope that you enjoy the posts I'll be bringing you this year.

Today I'll be bringing you all my end of year favourites post. Usually I'd be writing a Monthly Favourites post but seeing as we are now in a new year, I thought it'd be best to reflect on the past year, beauty wise. Especially as this year has been so important for me.

So let's get started!

1. Sleek Solstice Highlight Palette
I never really loved highlighter until I bought this palette. I never really tried Sleek makeup until I made this purchase either and now I love it. The shades in this palette are so beautiful and the highlight is extremely intense and is great to add that special glow to any look.

2. Real Techniques Brushes
Before I bought these brushes, I only ever used to use the cheap makeup brushes that you can buy in the little sets from Argos, which were alright at first but I was desperate to own a real set of brushes. The Real Technique Brushes are all I could've ever asked for. They're so soft and such good quality and do such an amazing job at applying makeup. I couldn't recommend these highly enough and I have loved them so much over the past year.

3. Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Bronzer is one product I have always had problems with, as the only ones I have been able to afford recently seem to always make me look a little bit orange. But during the summer, I had the opportunity to try out a miniature version of this bronzer and honestly it is the most amazing makeup product I have ever used! It's not too hard and blends very easily.

4. Stila 'Eyes Are The Window' Eyeshadow palette
This is probably my favourite purchase of 2016. I saved up all my tips to buy this eyeshadow palette and it was definitely worth every penny. I got the 'Soul' palette and honestly these are shades that I use on an everyday basis, as they are the perfect nudes. They're so pigmented too and easy to blend, with a great mixture of matte and shimmer shades. All beauty lovers should have this palette as part of their collection.

5. Benefit Porefessional Primer
Yet another Benefit product. I really have loved Benefit this year. This primer is just perfect. It is really easy to use, is a great base and is great for the skin. I definitely would say that this primer is worth the price tag.

6. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I have never really thought that much about buying more expensive skincare products until I heard about the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. And this product has really done wonders for my skin this year! Not only does it make your skin look great, it also makes you feel great and extremely refreshed.

7. Princess Marcella Borghese Superiore State of the Art mascara
Such a long name but also such an amazing mascara. I got this in a Look Incredible box a few months ago and I use it pretty much every day. It makes your eyelashes look great - not just good, but great! They add volume and really curl your eyelashes and make them look really black. This is definitely my mascara of the year.

8. Makeup Revolution Redemption Eyeshadow palette
I got this palette on day 25 of my Makeup Revolution advent calendar and although it's only been just over a week since I had the change to use it, I love it so much already. It's only worth about £4 and so I was expecting it to be not very good. However, it shocked me. These shades are mainly shimmer shades which I love and the ones in this palette have amazing pigmentation, a lot better than I expected.

9. MUA Blushers
These only cost £1 (so yes, I do own all of them!) and honestly I would be willing to pay more than that for these. They're so extremely pigmented and such great colours to use for any look. There's no fall out either, which is what you'd expect from such cheap products. I am glad to have added them to my makeup collection this past year.

It is strange. This time last year, my view on makeup was very different to how it is now. I did not really see the point in wearing it, and only wore it very rarely. Then something just changed, and now it is my biggest love in life. I couldn't possibly live without makeup in my life now and I could never imagine my life without this blog in it.

I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

I hope you liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends!

Christmas Party Makeup Look

Hello you beauties!

With Christmas quickly approaching, everyone will find themselves being invited to at least one Christmas party - maybe for work or a friend's party. You need to make yourself feel as Christmas-sy as ever, but don't always know where to begin. So today I've decided to share with you my go-to Christmas party makeup look, and I hope you can all take some inspiration from this.

Day Four of Makeup Revolution calendar: Strobe Balm

1.Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 'Light Vanilla'
This is honestly one of my favourite foundations and I find it especially great during the winter months. It has great coverage but doesn't feel too heavy on the skin.

2. Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in '2- Cool Medium'
This is probably my holy grail concealer, as it offers such great coverage, is so easy to blend and doesn't crease. Plus it is so cheap, so is perfect if you're only looking to use it a few times over the festive period!

3. Rimmel Stay Matte powder

This is a product I have spoken about a lot before, and I genuinely love this powder. It's great to set your makeup so that it lasts the whole night while you celebrate the festivities with family and friends.

4. Bourjois Chocolate scented bronzing powder in the shade '51'
I must admit, I prefer using my Benefit Hoola bronzer to this, as it creates a sharper contour. However, during the winter months I like to tone down on my contour so I have been finding myself using this bronzer a lot as it is a lot softer in colour.

5. BareMinerals Ready Blush in 'The Indecent Proposal'
BareMinerals blushers are probably my favourite blushes by far. And this blush is perfect for the festive period, as while it is only a nude colour, it has the added shimmer that will help bring sparkles to your look this Christmas.

6. Sleek Solstice highlighter palette
This palette contains the best, but most intense, highlighters I have ever used, and an intense highlight is perfect for a festive look. For a Christmas party, I would personally use the shade 'Equinox' as it is a lovely peachy orange shade.

7. NYX eyeshadow palette
For Christmas, I love using red and pink toned eyeshadows as they're just shades that I usually associate with Christmas. So I was happy to remember that I had already put together a NYX quad of eyeshadows with these perfect shades in them! As a base and the inner corner, I would use the shade 'Cupcake' which is a lovely matte light pink. Then in the crease I would use the shade 'Starstruck' which is a lovely mauve pink shade. Finally, on the outer 'V' of my eye, I would use the shade 'Flustered' which is a deep red/rusty colour, perfect for the festive period.

8. BareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow quad 'The After Party'
As well as loving their blushers, I also love the BareMinerals eyeshadows. To complete my eye look, I would put the lovely silver shade 'Mingle' for that added shimmer this Christmas.

9. Freedom Brow Pomade in 'Blonde'
I find that my eyebrows can always make or break a look, and I really love using this pomade because it is so easy to use and perfect for making your brows look amazing this Christmas period!

10. Benefit Roller Lash mascara
Usually I stick to my favourite No7 mascara, but recently I have been loving the Roller Lash mascara. It gives great length and volume, and really curls the lashes too. It adds great finish to any makeup look for the festive look.

11. No7 moisture drench lipstick in 'Caramel Silk'
Although I sometimes enjoy a bold lip, with having the red/pink eye look, I thought a simple nude lipstick would be the perfect end to this look. I love the No7 lipsticks too, as they really do moisturise and have great pigmentation.

So that is my festive party look for this year! Please feel free to share your festive looks with me.

I'll be back tomorrow with day 5 of Blogmas!

My Everyday Makeup Bag Autumn 2016

Hello you beauties!

Everyone who wears makeup knows how much the contents of your makeup bag can change between the seasons. So I thought it was only right that I would bring you an updated post on what is in my makeup bag this season!

1. Foundations and BB Creams - with the weather cooling down, I'm finding it easier and much more pleasurable to wear heavier coverage bases now. I have always enjoyed wearing the Garnier BB cream as it offered great coverage whilst still being lightweight, but I am also really enjoying using the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation.

2. Concealer - I'm only really using one concealer at the moment, and this is the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I am loving this concealer because, during the colder months, I feel like my skin looks extremely tired, and so this concealer is really good at covering up my dark circles and blends very easily.

3.  Powder - as per usual, I stick with my usual and favourite powder, the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder. I never really use anything else regarding powder.

4. Bronzer - I am still using my favourite bronzer which is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Some things never change!

5. Blush - At the moment, I am loving the MUA blushes as they're so cheap but extremely pigmented. I also love the two Bareminerals blushes that I own, which are more neutral toned than the pinkish toned MUA blushes, so I use these all for different looks.

6. Highlight - Ever since I first bought it, I have been loving the Sleek Solstice highlight palette and it is all I use for my highlight anymore.

7. Eyeshadows - Maybelline Colour Tattoos are my favourite eyeshadows at the moment. This is simply because I have such adorable autumn colours of them, and they're so easy to apply.

8. Mascaras - There are two mascaras that I am using a lot during the autumn. They are my favourites the No7 Exceptional Definition mascara and the Princess Marcella Borghese Superiore State of the Art mascara. I find that both give me just as much volume and colour and curl as I want.

9. Brows - I am loving using the Freedom Brow Pomade in the shade 'Blonde' at the moment but I am also loving the Soap and Glory Archery brow tint and pencil in the shade 'Love is Blonde' as I don't always have a lot of time to do my makeup so I find the pencil a lot easier to use. I am also using the Seventeen Clear Definition clear mascara to set my brows.

10. Plum/Purple lip liners - Of course it'll be plum/purple shades at the moment. It is autumn after all! I own two of these lip liners which I do use a lot. These are a Makeup Revolution one in the shade 'Vamp' and a Laura Geller one in the shade 'Chianti', and both lip liners do an extremely good job.

11. Finally, plum/purple lipsticks/lipglosses - Again, more purple. These shades of lipstick are all that I wear at the moment when I go out. I have 4 lipsticks of these shades. These are the Laura Geller in the shade 'Cab Crush', Topshop matte in the shade 'Beguiled', NYX intense butter gloss in the shade 'Spice Cake' and the Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Print in the shade 'Vamped up'. These are all great lipsticks and colours, and I would definitely recommend them.

So that was my everyday makeup bag post for autumn! Make sure to let me know what you have in your makeup bag this season.

I'll be back on Saturday with another post for you all!

Items I Will Definitely Repurchase Autumn 2016

Hello you beauties!

As you will all obviously know, we all have our makeup items that we swear by, ones that we don't know if we can live without, ones that we will definitely repurchase in the future. Well, here is my list!

The Rimmel London Stay Matte powder is honestly the only powder I use. And I know there are probably other great powders out there, but I feel like this one does a brilliant job and its really cheap too so I will definitely buy it again.

I bought my first Soap and Glory archery brow pencil and tint not too long ago, and it has become one of my favourite products in my collection. I struggle to find good brow products for me, as I have naturally blonde hair but darker eyebrows, but dark eyebrow products make me look stupid, but the colour of this brow pencil in 'Love is Blonde' is just perfect for me, and I will buy another one when my current one runs out.

I got my first No7 Exceptional Definition mascara in a Look Incredible box a few months ago and since then I swear it's the only mascara I ever use. It's perfect for those natural 'no makeup' makeup looks. I have actually already repurchased it, ready for when my current one runs out.

I never have much luck with bronzers, so when I first purchased the Benefit Hoola bronzer, I was a bit worried in case it didn't suit me, meaning I would've wasted a lot of money. But it's the perfect bronzer! It's very subtle meaning it is perfect for contouring and doesn't turn orange either.

My first ever lip crayon was by the Collection brand, and even though they're only cheap, they're brilliant products. They're actually quite moisturising and give a great colour pay off. The one in the shade 'Cappucino' is actually my fave lip product of all time, and I have actually already repurchased one because my current one is almost gone!

Now, saying I would repurchase a Topshop lipstick might not be the most logical thing I could say, as I only own one, but because of the amazing quality of the one that I own, it means that I would not say no to buying another one. The one I have is a matte one in the shade 'Beguiled', which is a plumish red colour. Those are two things I used to hate - mattes and dark colours. But this lipstick made me love them as it's not too drying and the colour doesn't run or anything like that.

Finally, I would definitely repurchase the NYX Intense Butter Glosses. While I don't usually wear lip glosses, because of the colour pay off of these glosses, I would say they are more like liquid lipsticks. While they don't dry completely, they don't actually feel sticky and don't run either, which makes them so lovely to wear.

Make sure to let me know what things you will repurchase and perhaps try and persuade me to buy them myself!

I'll be back on Saturday with another post for you all!

Ride or Die Tag Autumn 2016

Hello you beauties!

I have seen this tag done A LOT in the blogging world recently, so I thought now would be the right time for me to join in and do it too. So let's just start!

Primer - Benefit Porefessional
Foundation - Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum
Concealer - Bourjois Radiance Reveal

Monthly Favourites August 2016

Hello you beauties!

I really can't believe how quickly this year is going. It feels like only yesterday I started this blog, and I've actually been posting on this blog for just over 4 months now! Time really is flying!

Since it is the 1st September, it is only appropriate to tell you all about what I was loving last month!

1. Lip balms
I don't know about you, but I usually get really really dry lips. I hate when this happens, as sometimes it effects my lipstick and then I get really frustrating and usually feel like screaming. So I've really been loving lip balms this month. I have such a massive collection of lip balms now which have pretty much kept me calm recently. I especially love scented lip balms, especially sweet scents.

2. Benefit Porefessional Face Primer
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this product before, but I really have been loving this primer so much. I'm pretty new when it comes to primers, and before I just had a primer/moisturiser by Nivea, but the formula of this Benefit one feels like a better base than a moisturising primer does (the moisturising ones can make your face feel greasy).

3. Soap and Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in the shade 'Love is Blonde'
I always struggle to find decent brow products that don't make my brows look crazy. While I'm a natural blonde, my eyebrows are slightly darker than you'd expect, so sometimes blonde eyebrow products are no use at all, but light brown products are still much too dark. However, this product is just right! The colour isn't too harsh for my brows, but is easily blendable so I can have my brows as light or as dark as I want without my brows looking stupid.

4. Scented hand creams
As I have probably mentioned before, I get very dry skin on my hands, so hand creams are products that I am ALWAYS carrying around with me. I especially love scented ones, and I recently bought a pink grapefruit scented one from The Body Shop (see my previous post). Not only do they really smooth my skin, they also smell great and makes the chore of applying them multiple times a day much more pleasurable.

5. Historical films and TV shows
Everyone who knows me knows that I am a massive history geek. I often wish that I lived in the past rather than now, so I enjoy spending time watching period dramas. My favourites recently have included 'The Tudors', 'The Young Victoria' and 'The Duchess'. Not only are they great to watch, but can also be very educational as they teach you what life was like in different periods of history.

6. Hell's Kitchen
I have actually become obsessed with this TV show this past month. Watching this show was the highlight of every week for me - my Wednesday nights were not complete without watching this. It is packed with dramas, laughs and sad moments, keeps you on the edge of your seat and helps you to root for your favourite. This is one show that everyone should watch.

So those were my favourites for August. While it has been a long and fun-filled month, I haven't really tried many news things, or done many different things than I usually would do. Hopefully next month I would be able to talk to you about many more things, but until then I hope you enjoyed reading my favourites for August.

I'll be back on Saturday with another post for you all!

Look Incredible Beauty Box Review August 2016

Hello you beauties!

I know you were expecting a 'My Little Box' review today, as this is usually the time of the month that I upload them, but I explained in the Look Fantastic review why I wouldn't be reviewing these anymore. So here is my 'Look Incredible' review! Which you all know is my favourite beauty box to receive each month!

Price of box is £18.99 per monthAnd £2.50 P&P
There are 5 products in this month's box
This box is worth £93.98
The brands included in this box are: Nars, Bare Minerals, Benefit, Ooh and Fusion Beauty

The first item in this box is the Ooh Organic Argan Moisture Retention Face Oil (£19). I have never really heard of this brand before, and I never usually use face oils, so I wasn't majorly excited about receiving this product. However, I will try it out and see if I like it.

They also included the Nars Pure Sheer Lip Treatment (£15) in the box, and I received the shade 'Lara'. I am really hoping that this product will be useful for me, as I suffer from dry lips quite a bit. I will try this product out and let you know what I think of it.

Then there is the Benefit Ultra Shines Lip Shine Gloss Haute (£9.99) and I received it in the shade 'Foxy Lady' which is a lovely pink-ish red tone. I don't usually use lip glosses as I can find them too sticky sometimes but I will try this product out and may use it quite a bit in the future.

The next item is the Fusion Beauty Face Primer (£24.99) and again I have never heard of this brand before but this product already looks amazing. I never really have any primers that I absolutely love (although I am liking the Benefit Porefessional Primer) so I am hoping that this primer will impress me over time.

Finally, the most exciting product in this box is the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 (£25) and I got the 'Afterparty' quad. I have always wanted to own some more Bare Minerals makeup, as I already own one of their blushers from a previous Look Incredible box, and now I'm really happy that I finally own some of their eyeshadows! I cannot wait to try these out.

So I really really loved this box this month. It must be one of my favourite boxes ever and I am really glad that I subscribed to these boxes. They are definitely worth the money.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will be back on Saturday with another post for you all!

My Top 3 Mascaras Summer 2016

Hello you beauties!

I know in the past I have mentioned that mascaras are definitely my holy grail product, so I thought it was only appropriate that I wrote about my 3 favourite mascaras. So here is the post!

One of my favourites is the Roller Lash mascara by Benefit. I love wearing this on a night out as it adds a lot of length and volume. It is one of the best quality mascaras I have ever used and make my lashes look a lot more dramatic. However, it is not always affordable so it's not one that I buy a lot.

Another favourite is the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I am sure you've all heard of this mascara, and many of you have probably used it or still use it now. I love Maybelline mascaras as a whole, so I was really excited to try this out. It really curls my lashes well and even adds more volume.

However, my most favourite mascara ever has to be the No7 Exceptional Definition mascara. I received this in a Look Incredible box and I have used it most days since then. I have even bought a new one since then! I love that it is not too dramatic but does still curl your lashes and add some volume.

I know this was a really short post, but I hope you all still enjoyed it! I'll be back on Wednesday with a new post for you all!

Monthly Favourites July 2016

Hello you beauties!

I can't believe it's August already! Another month closer to my birthday (I'm sure I'll talk about my birthday a lot between now and September), I really am excited now. Also another month off college is something to look forward to, I feel less stressed out already and summer has only just begun!

As it is the first day of August, here is my July favourites!

1. Benefit Hoola bronzer
I hardly ever wear bronzer as I always struggle to find the right shade for me, and a lot of them always turn out very orange-y on my skin (especially the Makeup Revolution one that I own) but this bronzer is definitely one that I can work with. It's very light and sits nicely on my skin. I would definitely recommend this bronzer.

2. GOSH Prime & Refresh eye primer
I used to love my Korres eye primer but during this past month I really have loved this other eye primer too. It's very easy to use/apply on the lid, and keeps my eyeshadow looking perfect for as long as possible.

3. Yankee Candles
Who doesn't love candles!? I loved candles all throughout winter, especially cinnamon and apple scents, but Yankee candle store recently had some lovely summery scents in stock. They're great to use to make those dull rainy days that bit brighter.

4. No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara
This mascara is definitely my holy grail makeup product since I discovered it in my Look Incredible beauty box in June. Since then, I have already bought another one - I love it that much!

5. Gossip Girl
I have always loved this show, but I am loving it even more recently. As I've had more time to spare as I haven't had college, I've spent most of my time sitting on my sofa watching this show on Netflix. Definitely check this show out if you have time to!

6. Harry Potter
I have been a fan of Harry Potter for a very very long time but just recently I have become very very obsessed. In June, I went to The Making of Harry Potter and I am going back again in a few weeks time. Recently the Harry Potter series has made me very happy which is why it is in my monthly favourites.

So that's last month's favourites for you all! I'll be back on Wednesday with a new post for you all!

Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review July 2016

Hello you beauties!

So my first beauty box of the month arrived, which is the Look Fantastic one. This is always the first one to arrive and always arrives pretty quickly, so I am extremely impressed. Let's not ramble on, let's just see what's in this month's box.

Price of box is £11.25 per month (if 12 month subscription). No fee for P&P
There are 7 products in this month's box
If all full-sized products, this box would be worth c. £100
The brands included in this box are: Silk, Benefit, This Works, Mi Ti, Bellapierre and Nuxe

Again, this box comes with an issue of Elle magazine (RRP. £4.10) but I never usually read them.

Nuxe Multi-Purpose Dry Oil
This is a cute little bottle of, you guessed it, dry oil! Apparently you can use it on any part of the body for added shimmer. I tried it out of the back of my hand and it is gorgeous! It is so easy to apply and I am planning on using it throughout the summer months to brighten up my skin.

Bellapierre Lip and Cheek Stain
Finally! The first piece of makeup in four boxes! I am actually really pleased with this addition to the box, and I especially love Bellapierre cosmetics. I got it in the shade 'Pink' which is such a lovely shade, it is perfect for the summer months and is so easily blendable. I see myself using this a lot.
I'll be back on Saturday with another blog post for you all!

Mi Ti Hair Ties
I have heard a lot about these hair ties recently, as they apparently don't tug on your hair or leave kinks. I can't say I agree completely with this, as I do have difficulty removing them and find that they pull a bit. Also, I feel like it does leave kinks in my hair, or that could also be how my hair actually is. However, I do really like these. It hardly feels like there's anything there and also holds the hair so well that you can have as loose a ponytail as you want without your hair falling out. I just wish I could have more wearable colours like black, white or brown rather than a bright pink, but I might purchase more in the future.

This Works In Transit Camera Close Up mask, moisturiser and primer
When it comes to primers, I am not one to turn them down! I am currently using the Nivea primer but I am more than happy to add this one to my collection, as I have heard great things about this brand. The bottle is a decent size to decide whether or not you like it, and I can see myself using this everyday until I run out.

Silk Anti-Frizz Cream
Anyone who knows me knows that I have super frizzy hair and I have not found a good enough way to tame it yet. So this product is a welcome addition to the box. The bottle is a good enough size for you to try it out a few times, and I will let you know what I think about it once I have used it.

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil
When I heard a Benefit product was going to be in this month's box, I was super excited. Until I opened the box, because then I became slightly disappointed. Okay, if you've never owned a Benefit product before, then this would be a great addition to the box for you, but what annoys me is the fact that I already own this pencil after receiving it for free with an Elle magazine last month. Also, the shade is so completely wrong for me. Both of them that I own are in the darkest shades, and because I'm a natural blonde, these are too dark for me. I want to try and make it work though as they're are great pencils, and if I didn't already own one then I'd be very happy with this in the box.

I am extremely happy with this box this month - very impressed actually! Finally, we have some makeup products, and this month I feel like I could use everything in this box! It makes me regret slightly cancelling my subscription once the 12 months are up, but then it will give me the option to try another box in the future. I would recommend buying this box this month if there are any left.

I will be back on Saturday with another post for you all!
