Look Incredible Beauty Box Review July 2016

Hello you beauties!

My final beauty box of the month is here, and I must admit this one is always my favourite one each month (saving the best until last).

I am so excited that I'm just going to go in with this month's box.

Price of box is £18.99 per monthAnd £2.50 P&P
There are 5 products in this month's box
This box is worth £87.93
The brands included in this box are: Ciate, Nanshy, ultrasun, Urban Decay and Giorgio Armani

Ciate Corrupted Neon Manicure (£9.99)
Again, some more Ciate nail polish! I feel like I am drowning in nail polish from Look Incredible at the moment as this is the third box from them and all of them have had nail polish in them. I will not complain yet though, as I really really love nail polish. However, I am not too keen on the idea of neon polish, as I don't like bright bright colours, especially this pink. However, I will try it out - I may end up loving it in the future.

Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge (£5.95)
This product actually helped me out so much receiving it this month. I've been looking at the Real Technique blending sponges but now I don't have to consider buying one as I now have this one! It has a similar sort of shade, with the flat side which I find will make it easier for me to use. It is a lovely mint colour too, and I cannot wait to try it out.

Ultrasun Sports SPF50 Tranparent sun protection spray (£24.99)
I was actually slightly disappointed when I saw this in the box, as I don't feel like I'll get much use out of it. However, I thought about it and I'm going to try this out for when I go on my bike rides, as it says it is perfect for sports. With it being transparent I feel like it will be easy to apply and not get everywhere, so I will try this out in the future.

Urban Decay Lush Lash System (£28)
I am actually one of those lucky people with really nice long natural lashes anyway, so I don't think this product will actually help me out much, but I'll try it anyway and see if it can add just a little bit more volume. I probably wouldn't pay £28 for this product, but if I like this enough then I'll consider buying it again if I can find it anywhere cheaper.

Giorgio Armani Lip Gloss (£19)
When I saw this in the box, I think I actually screamed a little with excitement. This is a brand that I never though I would own before and now I do! This is just so perfect and I still can't believe I own it. It's such a perfect pink shade, perfect for the summer and this is a product that will become a regular part of my makeup routine within the next few months.

So, whilst this isn't my favourite Look Incredible box (last month's was definitely the best so far), I really do like this month's box and I am excited to try out all the products. I cannot wait for next month's box.

I'll be back on Monday with my July favourites for you all!

Bloggers Made Me Buy It

Hello you beauties!

We all know that sometimes beauty bloggers can have a lot of influence over us. I know that I have certainly been influenced quite a bit by other bloggers, and have even found myself buying things that they have recommended, and here is just a few of them!

1. LUSH lip scrub (£5.50)
I own the 'Bubblegum' one of these, which has the amazing taste of candyfloss. These are great, they really do exfoliate your lips and the fact that they are edible makes them even better. I probably don't use it as much as I should do to get the proper effects from it, but it really does help me out when my lips are extremely dry.

2. Soap and Glory Archery eyebrow tint and pencil (£10)
Now this was a bit of an impulse buy for me. I love my Maybelline brow palette, but I heard many great things about this Soap and Glory product so I thought I'd finally pick one up to try it out. I picked up the shade 'Love is Blonde' which is a (as you guessed) a light brow pencil, ideal for the blondes. I do feel like it is slightly too light for my brows, but paired with my Benefit 'Gimme Brows', I find I can build the colour up perfectly. It is so easy to use so I would definitely recommend that you try it too.

3. NYX lip products
Everyone has been raving about NYX since day one, and they've finally brought NYX to the Boots in my hometown, giving me the opportunity to try some of their products out. Their lip products are what most people talk about, so I decided that these would be some of the first things I tried. I have the Butter Lipstick in the shade Fizzies (£5.50), their Lip Lingerie Lipstick in the shade Bedtime Flirt (£6.50), a Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in the shade Tea and Cookies (£6.50) and a Butter Gloss in the shade Madeline (£5). I really love these lip products and if you're ever looking for an affordable lip product then I would recommend NYX as you definitely get more than your money's worth with these products.

4. Clinique bottom lash mascara (£14)
This is a product that I haven't seen talked about much but should definitely be talked about more. I am one of those lucky people who have naturally long lashes, so extra length to my bottom lashes is not something I'm necessarily looking for. The smaller brush on this mascara means it is great for me to use on my bottom lashes as they're easier to reach and I can add colour without having to worry about having spider web eyelashes. Even though it is a bit more expensive than some good mascaras, it is definitely worth the money.

5. Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer (£7.99)
I have been struggling to find a decent concealer for so long, so when I heard Zoe Sugg talk about this then I was determined to try it out for myself. And it is definitely worth the hype. While it didn't cover everything up amazingly, it really brightened my skin and I will definitely re-buy this in the future.

6. MUA Blush (£1)
MUA is one of the cheapest brands I have ever discovered, and I find that a lot of people now have a lot of their products in their makeup collection now. I heard great things about their blushers, and I have always wanted to try out new blushers. So I picked up one in the shade 'Lolly'. It is a lovely subtle pink which is pigmented very well for its price, but is also very buildable to however you want it. I will definitely try out more of their products in the future.

7. Rimmel London Stay Matte powder (£3.99)
This product has been my holy grail item ever since I found out about it. I have it in the shade Transparent which I find is the safest option. It is so creamy and sits on my skin so nicely and sets my makeup perfectly. I can never imagine using a different powder ever again.

8. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (£15.50)
EVERYONE talks about this. I think this is a staple in most people's skincare routines now. It definitely is in mine. It really does cleanse my skin and always leaves me feeling so clean and refreshed. I would recommend you all buy this as soon as you can!

That is everything for today's post. I hope you liked it! I'll be back on Saturday with my Look Incredible review for you all.

My Little Box Beauty Box Review July 2016

Hello you beauties!

I'm back again with another beauty box post! This is the My Little Box, which offers you 2 lifestyle and 3 beauty items each month for only £11 a month (plus P&P). Admittedly, we receive brands that I have never heard of before (except ones such as Too Faced and Ciate) but I find this box is a great way of discovering new brands, and even those brands usually found abroad.

So, let's get started, and this month's theme is 'Coconuts'!

Price of box is £11 per monthAnd £3.95 P&P
There are 6 products in this month's box
This box would be worth c.£50
The brands included in this box are: My Little Beauty, Merci Handy, Yves Rocher and Ojon

Let's start with the lifestyle items:

"Oh The Places You'll Go" Passport Holder (£11)
This is the first item that I pulled out of the box, and to be completely honest, it's not really something that I'll use. I haven't been out of the country properly since I was 9 and I actually don't actually have a passport at the moment. I'll just have to find something else to use this with, but it is a really cute design and I think it's a brilliant idea to put it in a summer box.

"Sunshine Suits You!" Bracelet (£18)
This is a collaboration with Stella&Dot and is the perfect summer bracelet. I do find it is a little bit snug around my wrist, but it fits and looks super cute so I can see myself wearing this a lot during the warmer months.

Now let's go onto the beauty items!

Ojon Rare Blend Oil (Sample size)
This is the first item I noticed in the bag, as I was quite shocked to see 4 rather than 3 items in this month's beauty bag. It's just a tiny sample of an oil that you put on the tips of your hair, and is supposed to repair it. I love receiving hair products and so I'll use this and tell you all what I think.

My Little Beauty Coconut Spritzer After Sun Spray (£10 for 100ml)
Because this month's theme is coconut, it is not a surprise that this is a coconut scented item. Plus it's perfect for summer! My Little Beauty is bringing us sun protection whilst still smelling great! I will probably end up using most of this during the next couple of months, and I am happy to have received it.

Yves Rocher Coconut Eau de Toilette (£7 for 20ml)
Again, another coconut scented item (which is not unexpected). This is a cute little bottle of coconut scented perfume/body mist, which smells delicious. It does smell exactly like my The Body Shop coconut body mist, which I also love, so I know I will be getting a lot of use from this.

Merci Handy Coconut Hand Cleansing Gel (c. £2.50 for 30ml)
Admittedly, this is the product I was most excited about in this box. That seems pretty sad, but hand cleansing gels are one of my most favourite things ever. I currently have a strawberry laces scented one from Carex, so I am excited to get another beautifully scented one. I'll be carrying this in every handbag until the day I run out of it.

So, I was actually really impressed with this month's box. I think I have to admit its my favourite one out of the 4 of these My Little Box boxes that I have received so far and I am impressed. I cannot wait to see if they can top this next month. Each box just keeps getting better and better.

I'll be back on Wednesday with another blog post for you all!

My Eyeshadow Collection

Hello you beauties!

After a few little shopping trips and impulse purchases, I realised I actually own a LOT of eyeshadows, so I decided to write a post about them all for you. I hope you're all ready for one long post!

T.K.Maxx is always a great place to look for great brands for low prices. I was so excited when I found two Cargo quad palettes for £3 each so I needed to make sure to add them to my collection. The first one I have is the 'Barcelona' one, which are probably brighter colours that I don't usually go for. But for only £3 I thought I'd try it out. I also purchased the 'London' palette, which is a more suited palette for me as it has the perfect brown and highlighting shades.

My biggest palette is the Makeup Revolution 'Flawless' palette, which is a matte and shimmer 32 shade palette. This is an amazing palette that I reach for almost everyday, and can create so many looks from it. For such a cheap price of £8, this is definitely a palette that I would recommend.

The next one is an eyeshadow pencil from Avon, in the shade 'Flipping Out Pink'. Now, I don't usually use eyeshadow pencils, but this was really cheap so I thought I would just try it out. It's great to use as a highlighting shade on the lid and is definitely worth purchasing.

I also have the Revlon 'Addictive' quad palette which, as you have probably guessed, is a palette with very neutral shades. You can create so many great looks with just these 4 eyeshadows, and they even provide you with ideas on how to create different looks.

The next is probably the least favourite eyeshadow palette that I own. It is 'The Nude' palette by Maybelline. I usually love Maybelline products but this is one that I'm not really a fan of. While it offers a great range of shades, I find the eyeshadows aren't massively pigmented and there is a lot of fall out, they're so hard to work with but I do sometimes still use these eyeshadows.

The next are what I see as being very popular products. Again, they're Maybelline products - the colour tattoos. I have never really used cream eyeshadows before, but I've heard the amazing things people have said about these so I just had to try them out. And they're amazing to work with and the colour pay off is amazing! I have the matte shade 'creamy beige' and the shimmer shades 'on and on bronze', 'eternal gold' and 'pink gold' and I would recommend these shades more than anything.

I have also created my own 4 shade NYX palette recently too. Everyone is always raving about the brand NYX and I thought creating my own palette would be the perfect way to start off my NYX collection. I have the shades 'Flustered', 'Bad Seed', 'Starstruck' and 'Cupcake'. These are a mixture of matte and shimmer shades, all with pink and red tones to them. I chose these colours because I usually only go for brown shades so it's something different for me to try out. These eyeshadows are great, they're really pigmented and are quite cheap (one single eyeshadow pan costs only £2.50) so I would definitely recommend that you create your own NYX eyeshadow palette.

After hearing how amazing the brand is, I decided to try out an MUA eyeshadow. So not too long ago, I decided to purchase one of their single shadows in the shade 'Oyster' which is a simple white shade. I thought it would be a great highlighting shade, and it is amazing quality for only £1! I will definitely buy more of their products in the future.

The next eyeshadow in my collection is a single shadow from Topshop in the shade 'Hallucination'. This is an amazing eyeshadow, a very shimmery glittery pinkish white. It may have been £7 for a tiny single eyeshadow, but for the quality and the amazingness of the eyeshadow, I could resist it and I am planning on buying more in the future.

The next was an amazing purchase on my behalf. It is a single NARS eyeshadow in the shade 'Galapagos', which is a dark brown with gold glitter flecks in it. Everyone knows that NARS makeup isn't exactly cheap, as it's usually £18 just for one single eyeshadow. However, I purchased this eyeshadow from T.K.Maxx, and in the end only had to pay £8 for it, so it was a complete bargain! The product is amazingly pigmented, and I will definitely buy more in the future.

The final eyeshadow product in my collection is definitely the biggest and my most favourite purchase ever. It is the Stila 'Eyes are the Window' 'Soul' palette. This is an amazing palette with 12 highly pigmented and beautifully creamy neutral shades. They blend so nicely and I would say this is my most favourite makeup product that I own.

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my eyeshadow collection!

I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all!

Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review July 2016

Hello you beauties!

So my first beauty box of the month arrived, which is the Look Fantastic one. This is always the first one to arrive and always arrives pretty quickly, so I am extremely impressed. Let's not ramble on, let's just see what's in this month's box.

Price of box is £11.25 per month (if 12 month subscription). No fee for P&P
There are 7 products in this month's box
If all full-sized products, this box would be worth c. £100
The brands included in this box are: Silk, Benefit, This Works, Mi Ti, Bellapierre and Nuxe

Again, this box comes with an issue of Elle magazine (RRP. £4.10) but I never usually read them.

Nuxe Multi-Purpose Dry Oil
This is a cute little bottle of, you guessed it, dry oil! Apparently you can use it on any part of the body for added shimmer. I tried it out of the back of my hand and it is gorgeous! It is so easy to apply and I am planning on using it throughout the summer months to brighten up my skin.

Bellapierre Lip and Cheek Stain
Finally! The first piece of makeup in four boxes! I am actually really pleased with this addition to the box, and I especially love Bellapierre cosmetics. I got it in the shade 'Pink' which is such a lovely shade, it is perfect for the summer months and is so easily blendable. I see myself using this a lot.
I'll be back on Saturday with another blog post for you all!

Mi Ti Hair Ties
I have heard a lot about these hair ties recently, as they apparently don't tug on your hair or leave kinks. I can't say I agree completely with this, as I do have difficulty removing them and find that they pull a bit. Also, I feel like it does leave kinks in my hair, or that could also be how my hair actually is. However, I do really like these. It hardly feels like there's anything there and also holds the hair so well that you can have as loose a ponytail as you want without your hair falling out. I just wish I could have more wearable colours like black, white or brown rather than a bright pink, but I might purchase more in the future.

This Works In Transit Camera Close Up mask, moisturiser and primer
When it comes to primers, I am not one to turn them down! I am currently using the Nivea primer but I am more than happy to add this one to my collection, as I have heard great things about this brand. The bottle is a decent size to decide whether or not you like it, and I can see myself using this everyday until I run out.

Silk Anti-Frizz Cream
Anyone who knows me knows that I have super frizzy hair and I have not found a good enough way to tame it yet. So this product is a welcome addition to the box. The bottle is a good enough size for you to try it out a few times, and I will let you know what I think about it once I have used it.

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil
When I heard a Benefit product was going to be in this month's box, I was super excited. Until I opened the box, because then I became slightly disappointed. Okay, if you've never owned a Benefit product before, then this would be a great addition to the box for you, but what annoys me is the fact that I already own this pencil after receiving it for free with an Elle magazine last month. Also, the shade is so completely wrong for me. Both of them that I own are in the darkest shades, and because I'm a natural blonde, these are too dark for me. I want to try and make it work though as they're are great pencils, and if I didn't already own one then I'd be very happy with this in the box.

I am extremely happy with this box this month - very impressed actually! Finally, we have some makeup products, and this month I feel like I could use everything in this box! It makes me regret slightly cancelling my subscription once the 12 months are up, but then it will give me the option to try another box in the future. I would recommend buying this box this month if there are any left.

I will be back on Saturday with another post for you all!

Lip Crayons Reviews

Hello you beauties!

Everyone knows by now that I love lip crayons/pencils more than I love anything else in the world, so I thought I would go through each one I own and give you a review of them, and share the love I have for them all!

Collection Work the Colour Lip Butters (shades Cappuccino and Marshmallow Pink)
These retail at £2.99 each from basically anywhere that stocks Collection (e.g. Boots, Superdrug and Asda). Cappuccino is a glossy nude colour that is perfect for everyday wear. It is not extremely pigmented meaning it is not too intense but still gives a burst of colour. The Marshmallow Pink is a matte pink colour that I wearable for day and night and also doesn't dry out my lips which is a bonus.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Colour Balm (shades Viva Violet, Make Me Blush, Rumour Has It and Boom Chic A Boom)
These retail at £5.99 each in places such as Superdrug and Boots again. These are super pigmented, more so than the Collection ones, but are also much more intense so I would usually save these for a night out. I might use the 'Viva Violet' shade (aka a purple) in the winter months during the day but I would mainly use these lip crayons for a night out.

Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Glossy Finish Lipstick (shade Orange Punch)
Before I purchased this lip crayon (for £7.99 from Boots), I had never tried this brand out before. And I'm kind of annoyed at myself for not trying this brand out before. Just from this one product, I am already impressed. It's very sheer, but I prefer this with this shade as I have never really used an orange shade for my lips before. The colour is build-able but pigmented well. It is very moisturising and I will use this a lot during the summer.

Revlon Colour Burst Lacquer Balm (shade Demure)
This is the first Revlon product I owned, which I bought from Boots for £7.99. I think I'm obsessed with lip products (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be doing this post) and I heard that this were amazing lip crayons so I thought I would try them out. Not all shades were really wearable for me, but that's because of my own personal taste rather than them being horrible shades (I loved all the shades I just wouldn't be brave enough to wear some of them). These lacquer balms are very sheer and great for everyday wear.

Revlon Colour Burst Balm Stain (shade Honey)
Again, another Revlon product. I got this as a free gift for spending £14.99 from Boots, but again these retail at £7.99. It's a lovely pink that I saw before I bought the Lacquer balm but chose not to buy it. I wish I had, as it's not as bright as I thought it would be and I'm excited to use this more on an everyday basis more in the future.

MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil (shade Hopelessly Devoted)
This is the only high-end lip crayon that I actually own, although I have my eye on a NARS lip pencil. I got it in my May 2016 Look Incredible beauty box so it's not really a shade I would've chosen for myself (a bright fuchsia). However, luckily this lip pencil is very sheer so the colour, whilst being very pigmented, is also build-able to the level you want it, rather than being very intense from the beginning. This is a great colour for a night out and also quite moisturising.

My Favourite? I would probably recommend the Collection lip crayons the most. Whilst they're not the most pigmented, they're not too expensive and give great pigmentation for the price they cost and also are great to wear during the day.

So that was my review! I hope you all enjoyed this post. Let me know if you like lip crayons and which ones you like, so I can try some new ones out :)

I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

Haul June 2016 - Boots, John Lewis and Lush

Hello you beauties!

Now I know what you're thinking - it's July now, but this is a June Haul!? I called it a June haul as this little shopping trip actually happened late June, so I thought it would be appropriate to remember that.

Now, let's see what I bought this time!

My first stop was John Lewis. Now, the John Lewis store in my home town of Nottingham was closed for I think it was 6 days because of the terrible flooding we had, but now it's reopened so I make sure to head straight in to look at their beauty and skincare items. I found myself wandering over towards the Liz Earle products, as this is a brand I have wanted to try for a very long time.

Along with the Neutrogena pink grapefruit facial wash that I have now bought, I can finally cross off another item from my Summer 2016 wishlist! I finally purchased the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (£15.50). It was quite a spontaneous buy, I wasn't really planning to come home with this today, but I'm so happy that I finally decided to purchase it. I will bring you a full review on my blog soon. I also received samples of their Superskin Eye Cream and their Superskin Face Serum

Next I went to Lush, and I can cross another thing off of my wishlist again! I finally bought one of their lip scrubs (£5.50), the 'Bubblegum' one. It smells amazing, feels great on the lips and tastes amazing too. I will let you know my opinion again once I've used it a bit more.

Finally, I went to Boots and had a massive spree in there. I think the amount I bought this day is the most I have ever bought in one go at any store. There were loads of offers on in store, so it was hard to control myself.

I searched around the store before raiding the Revlon products. I have been looking to try their new 'Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor' (£8.99) liquid lipsticks for quite a while but have been unsure about which colours would suit me. Also, I don't always get along with matte products, so I was worried about that too. But I finally decided to buy one. I got it in the shade 'Devotion' which is a very muted pink and suits me brilliantly. This isn't too drying and is easy to use - a lot better than the liquid lipstick I received in my Look Incredible beauty box in June. I am glad I bought it and I will definitely repurchase it again.

From Revlon, I also bought the 'Multi Care Base + Top Coat' (£6.49) nail polish because I've always been looking for a decent top coat to make my coloured nail polish last even longer. The bottles of nail polish from this brand are very decently sized and I can't wait to try this out.

Now, the offer for this brand was a free gift set if you spend over £14.99. So because I had spent £15.48, I made sure to pick up this gift as I'm not one to pass up free things. It was basically like a mini beauty box as you receive 4 full sized items, and they claim that this box is worth around £30 (which I can confirm). In the box, we receive a Revlon Colorstay Quad Eyeshadow Palette in the shade 'Addictive', which is a lovely neutral palette which I will probably end up using every day. It is extremely pigmented, easy to blend and such easy to wear colours.

The next item I pulled out of the little box was their nail enamel in the new shade 'Vivacious' which is a very bright pink. I don't usually like wearing pinks anymore as I wore them a lot when I was younger so I see pink as being a childish nail colour, but I will definitely try this out at some point.

Next is a product that unfortunately I do not see myself using much. It is the Colorstay eye liner in the shade 'Black'. I do not really use eye liners a lot anymore and I own tons of black eyeliners, so I might find this more useful if it was in a different shade but I suppose if I don't use this myself, I can pass it on to someone else.

Finally, the last in this little box is probably my favourite thing in the whole of this haul, and also the box. It is one of their Colorburst Balm Stains, in the shade 'Honey' which is a lovely nude pink. I already own one of their Colorburst Laquer Balms in the shade 'Demure' which I love, and this one impresses me just as much. And it smells like peppermint as well!!

Finally I headed to the Bourjois products. I have never owned a Bourjois product before so I was excited to try this brand out. This brand had two offers - all products were 3 for 2, but you also got a free pair of Bourjois sunglasses if you bought 3 products. So of course, I bought 3 products, and picked up my free sunglasses. I will insert a picture of these (which came in a blue case) as it's hard to describe but I'm not 100% sure if they suit me or not. Oh well, they were free.

The first item I picked up from this brand is their 'Khol and Contour' pencil eyeliner in the shade 'Gris Ingenieux' which as the name suggests is a grey. I know I mentioned earlier that I hardly ever wear eye liners, but I feel like I might get along easier with this because it's not as much of a dramatic colour as black can be, and can be something to play around with. I did try looking for a white eyeliner for my waterline, but literally no brand in Boots seemed to have one, so I will continue looking. For now, I am happy with this new eyeliner purchase.

The next product is yet another lip crayon type product. This is one of their Color Boost glossy finish lipsticks in the shade 'Orange Punch'. Yes, you've guessed it, it's an orange. I only usually use nudes and casual pinks, so I was a bit unsure after buying this colour if it'd be right or not. But it is summer now, and orange is a very summer-y colour. It's not an 'in your face' orange, it is great for everyday wear and I cannot wait to use it throughout the next few months.

The final product in this haul and also from Bourjois is something I have had my eye on for AGES. It is this bronzer... the one that smells and looks like chocolate! Now, anyone who knows me knows that I am trying to slowly cut chocolate out of my diet (health reasons) but it doesn't mean I don't love chocolate! This is everything you could want in a bronzer and I'm hoping that it now means that I will use bronzers a lot more over the summer.

I honestly did not realise how long this post would have been! I bought more than I realised. My bank account is not going to be happy with me. But it's not as though I do this a lot, so the odd shopping spree every now and again isn't going to hurt.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post and I'll be back on Saturday with another post for you all!
