Makeup I Hardly Use But Should Use More

Hello you beauties!

Some of you are probably in the same boat as me with this, but there are certainly many items in my makeup collection that I have used before or I know are really good but I just don't seem to use them anymore. And I really should. So I've picked out some of my favourites that I am going to start using more of and have decided to tell you all what they are!

1. Nars Galapagos eyeshadow
I bought this from T K Maxx a while ago for £10 cheaper than it was supposed to be, so it was a real bargain but I am just too scared to use it. It's quite dark so I am worried that I'll accidentally put too much on and look stupid. I'm going to be more brave from now on though as it is definitely a great product and such a gorgeous shade!

2. Collection Lip Butter in 'Cappuccino'
I mentioned this product in my favourite nude lipsticks post and I really did use to wear this lip colour a lot but once I started becoming a bit more adventurous with my purple and pink shades, I just seemed to stop using this. I really do like this lip crayon though so I am definitely going to try and use it more from now on.

3. No7 Skin Illuminator
I was really excited about this product when I first bought it but since then I just seemed to stick to my powder highlights rather than liquid ones. I want to start using it more though as it is quite beautiful, so I am planning to start mixing it with my foundation more to give me that healthy and natural looking glow.

4. Any eyeliner I own
You all know that I have a love-hate relationship with eyeliners. I usually avoid using them as I do get really annoyed with it all sometimes, but then I really love how eyeliner looks on me. So from now on, I am going to start being a bit more patient and try to incorporate eyeliner into my makeup look a bit more.

5. Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette
I used to use this brow product ALL the time but then I discovered the Freedom brow pomade and stopped using everything else. This brow product is really great though and so I'm going to start using this a bit more rather than the pomade to help give a bit more of a soft and natural look to my brows.

6. Seventeen Define and Conquer contour kit
Contouring really isn't my strong point (then again, am I actually any good at anything to do with makeup) but I really found using this contour kit was a lot easier. I don't know why I stopped using it (probably to use my Benefit Hoola bronzer instead!) but I'm really going to start using this more for that subtle everyday look.

7. Makeup Revolution 'Hot Spice' blush palette
These were probably the first blushers I ever owned and they really are such great drugstore blushers as they are very pigmented and easy to blend out if necessary. Such a great range of colours too. I used to use them all the time but now I usually use my MUA or BareMinerals blushers.

So those were just a few things that I do feel like I need to use more and hopefully I'll stick to that. Are they any good products you feel like you're neglecting at the moment?

I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

Look Incredible Beauty Box Review October 2016

Hello you beauties!

So it's time again for another subscription box review! As you know I usually love this Look Incredible box (apart from a slightly disappointing box last month) so let's see what I think about it this month.

Price of box is £18.99 per monthAnd £2.50 P&P
There are 5 products in this month's box
This box is worth £75.98
The brands included in this box are: Stila, The Body Shop, Ciate, NARS and Bareminerals

The first item I noticed in this box (because it was a big one!) is the Body Shop White Musk Soft Body Polish (£15). I am really excited about this product as I love the Body Shop products and I love skin care products. It smells great and I can't wait to use it!

The next item I noticed (and originally got very excited about) is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (£15). However, I got the shade 'Tender Night' which is a lilac-y shade. A lilac shade for your lips!? I'm all about wearing purple shades, but dark shades, not lilac! However, when I tested it, it is extremely light which means it's perfect if you just want to add a little bit of shimmer to your natural lip colour.

I then noticed a Stila product in the box, and I love the brand so I was really excited to see it. However, the overall product is not the best. It is the Stila Colour Balm Lipstick (£16) and while I love lipsticks, I own so many that I really do not need anymore. Also, it is not the easiest thing to use as it is quite large so hard to control where the product actually goes. Also, I'm not a massive fan of the shade. I got the shade 'Avery' which is a reasonably light pink shade, which I do not think is right for the autumn/winter months at all - it would've made sense if we had got this product in the June/July/August box instead. On the lips, luckily, it isn't too bright and I am sure I can use this quite a bit in the spring/summer months next year, and I might be able to use it a little bit over Christmas. It also smells like peppermint, which I love!

Next I pulled out the Ciate Feathered Manicure Set (£9.99). I own so many Ciate nail polishes and nail sets now that I won't need anymore nail polishes for months! I do love nail art but the amount of nail art sets we've been given from Look Incredible and Ciate over the past few months is starting to annoy me. I will try this out soon however, and I will let you know my opinion of it.

The final item in the box is something that they actually put in the May box. It is the Bareminerals Ready Blush (£19.99). In May, I received one in the shade 'The Whisper'. I do love this product but I am annoyed that it is a repeat product. This time, I received the shade 'The Indecent Proposal' which is a similar nude shade to the first one I owned, but with a bit of shimmer to it. I feel like this will be perfect as the festive period approaches. Although I am disappointed that it is a repeat product, I am overall very pleased with this product.

While this box has not been the most exciting box I have received to date, I am overall quite pleased with all the products in this box and I am sure I will be able to incorporate them all into makeup looks one day in the future.

I will be back on Wednesday with another post for you!

Look Incredible Beauty Box Review August 2016

Hello you beauties!

I know you were expecting a 'My Little Box' review today, as this is usually the time of the month that I upload them, but I explained in the Look Fantastic review why I wouldn't be reviewing these anymore. So here is my 'Look Incredible' review! Which you all know is my favourite beauty box to receive each month!

Price of box is £18.99 per monthAnd £2.50 P&P
There are 5 products in this month's box
This box is worth £93.98
The brands included in this box are: Nars, Bare Minerals, Benefit, Ooh and Fusion Beauty

The first item in this box is the Ooh Organic Argan Moisture Retention Face Oil (£19). I have never really heard of this brand before, and I never usually use face oils, so I wasn't majorly excited about receiving this product. However, I will try it out and see if I like it.

They also included the Nars Pure Sheer Lip Treatment (£15) in the box, and I received the shade 'Lara'. I am really hoping that this product will be useful for me, as I suffer from dry lips quite a bit. I will try this product out and let you know what I think of it.

Then there is the Benefit Ultra Shines Lip Shine Gloss Haute (£9.99) and I received it in the shade 'Foxy Lady' which is a lovely pink-ish red tone. I don't usually use lip glosses as I can find them too sticky sometimes but I will try this product out and may use it quite a bit in the future.

The next item is the Fusion Beauty Face Primer (£24.99) and again I have never heard of this brand before but this product already looks amazing. I never really have any primers that I absolutely love (although I am liking the Benefit Porefessional Primer) so I am hoping that this primer will impress me over time.

Finally, the most exciting product in this box is the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 (£25) and I got the 'Afterparty' quad. I have always wanted to own some more Bare Minerals makeup, as I already own one of their blushers from a previous Look Incredible box, and now I'm really happy that I finally own some of their eyeshadows! I cannot wait to try these out.

So I really really loved this box this month. It must be one of my favourite boxes ever and I am really glad that I subscribed to these boxes. They are definitely worth the money.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will be back on Saturday with another post for you all!

My Eyeshadow Collection

Hello you beauties!

After a few little shopping trips and impulse purchases, I realised I actually own a LOT of eyeshadows, so I decided to write a post about them all for you. I hope you're all ready for one long post!

T.K.Maxx is always a great place to look for great brands for low prices. I was so excited when I found two Cargo quad palettes for £3 each so I needed to make sure to add them to my collection. The first one I have is the 'Barcelona' one, which are probably brighter colours that I don't usually go for. But for only £3 I thought I'd try it out. I also purchased the 'London' palette, which is a more suited palette for me as it has the perfect brown and highlighting shades.

My biggest palette is the Makeup Revolution 'Flawless' palette, which is a matte and shimmer 32 shade palette. This is an amazing palette that I reach for almost everyday, and can create so many looks from it. For such a cheap price of £8, this is definitely a palette that I would recommend.

The next one is an eyeshadow pencil from Avon, in the shade 'Flipping Out Pink'. Now, I don't usually use eyeshadow pencils, but this was really cheap so I thought I would just try it out. It's great to use as a highlighting shade on the lid and is definitely worth purchasing.

I also have the Revlon 'Addictive' quad palette which, as you have probably guessed, is a palette with very neutral shades. You can create so many great looks with just these 4 eyeshadows, and they even provide you with ideas on how to create different looks.

The next is probably the least favourite eyeshadow palette that I own. It is 'The Nude' palette by Maybelline. I usually love Maybelline products but this is one that I'm not really a fan of. While it offers a great range of shades, I find the eyeshadows aren't massively pigmented and there is a lot of fall out, they're so hard to work with but I do sometimes still use these eyeshadows.

The next are what I see as being very popular products. Again, they're Maybelline products - the colour tattoos. I have never really used cream eyeshadows before, but I've heard the amazing things people have said about these so I just had to try them out. And they're amazing to work with and the colour pay off is amazing! I have the matte shade 'creamy beige' and the shimmer shades 'on and on bronze', 'eternal gold' and 'pink gold' and I would recommend these shades more than anything.

I have also created my own 4 shade NYX palette recently too. Everyone is always raving about the brand NYX and I thought creating my own palette would be the perfect way to start off my NYX collection. I have the shades 'Flustered', 'Bad Seed', 'Starstruck' and 'Cupcake'. These are a mixture of matte and shimmer shades, all with pink and red tones to them. I chose these colours because I usually only go for brown shades so it's something different for me to try out. These eyeshadows are great, they're really pigmented and are quite cheap (one single eyeshadow pan costs only £2.50) so I would definitely recommend that you create your own NYX eyeshadow palette.

After hearing how amazing the brand is, I decided to try out an MUA eyeshadow. So not too long ago, I decided to purchase one of their single shadows in the shade 'Oyster' which is a simple white shade. I thought it would be a great highlighting shade, and it is amazing quality for only £1! I will definitely buy more of their products in the future.

The next eyeshadow in my collection is a single shadow from Topshop in the shade 'Hallucination'. This is an amazing eyeshadow, a very shimmery glittery pinkish white. It may have been £7 for a tiny single eyeshadow, but for the quality and the amazingness of the eyeshadow, I could resist it and I am planning on buying more in the future.

The next was an amazing purchase on my behalf. It is a single NARS eyeshadow in the shade 'Galapagos', which is a dark brown with gold glitter flecks in it. Everyone knows that NARS makeup isn't exactly cheap, as it's usually £18 just for one single eyeshadow. However, I purchased this eyeshadow from T.K.Maxx, and in the end only had to pay £8 for it, so it was a complete bargain! The product is amazingly pigmented, and I will definitely buy more in the future.

The final eyeshadow product in my collection is definitely the biggest and my most favourite purchase ever. It is the Stila 'Eyes are the Window' 'Soul' palette. This is an amazing palette with 12 highly pigmented and beautifully creamy neutral shades. They blend so nicely and I would say this is my most favourite makeup product that I own.

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my eyeshadow collection!

I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all!
