Look Incredible Beauty Box Review June 2016

Hello you beauties!

I am back again with another beauty box review for you all! This one is my favourite - the Look Incredible beauty box. I love the fact that we receive 5 full sized items a month, for only £18.99.

I must admit, I had a problem with this box this month, hence why it is the last post of the month. The first box that was sent out to me still hadn't arrived almost 2 weeks after it was sent out, so I emailed Look Incredible and they sent me a new box straight out. This arrived within a week, and I was so happy to finally receive it. Everything was in perfect condition, and I would just like to thank the Look Incredible team for such brilliant customer service.

Now, let's get onto the box!

Price of box is £18.99 per monthAnd £2.50 P&P
There are 5 products in this month's box
This box is worth £76.50
The brands included in this box are: Ciate, No7, Velvet 59, Stila and The Body Shop

Ciate Manicure Set (RRP. £16)
This is the first item that I saw in the box, mainly because it was the item on top. Ciate is a brand that I have heard a lot about but not really used before, until I received a mini in the shade 'Pepperminty' in this month's 'My Little Box'. I loved that nail varnish that I own now, so I was really happy to see this product in the box. The shade of nail varnish we receive ('Cream Soda') is a lovely grey colour that I would see myself using a lot. The foils are beautiful colours, with a range of golds, silvers and greens, etc. Each foil is named; 'Flash', 'Fizz', 'Feisty', 'Fling', 'Flirt' and 'Frost'. I am really looking forward to trying these out, as it's something new to try.

The Body Shop Moroccan Rhassoul Body Clay (RRP. £16)

I absolutely love this brand. The Body Shop is somewhere I go on every shopping trip. I own four of their body mists which I use every day, along with many other products of theirs. So of course I was extremely excited to see this brand featured in this month's box. I like the fact that this is supposed to firm your skin, as I certainly have a lot of areas that need firming! The scent of this clay isn't as bad as some people have said, but it certainly does get messy, so I'd advise not to apply any where it would be difficult to remove (e.g. fabrics). I can't see any effects yet, but I've only used it once, so I'll bring you a proper review when I can see better results.

No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara (RRP. £11.50)
This box couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time. I had just run out of my favourite Maybelline mascara, and was about to buy some more, but now I don't have to. I tried this mascara out as soon as I spotted it in the box. It doesn't add massive volume, but sometimes I prefer that as it helps me to create a more natural look. It adds a lot of colour (I received my mascara in the shade 'Black') and even curls the lashes. Mascaras are probably one of my favourite makeup items, and No7 is definitely one of my favourite drugstore brands. I will definitely repurchase this in the future.

Velvet 59 Matte to the Max Liquid Lipstick (RRP. £17)
This is a brand that I have honestly never heard of before. I like the idea of the product being vegan, although it's not something that I'd go out and look for in particular. However, I am wary about trying this brand's products again. This, however, is only because I find this lipstick so hard to work with. It is so... 'runny' and I find that I have to blend it with my finger too to make it reasonably wearable. Also, the colour really doesn't suit me. I received the shade 'Pink Cadillac', which I think is the shade that everyone received. It is a very bright, light pink, which is a colour I never wear, and I don't see myself using this in the future. I might've done if it was a more wearable colour for me though.

Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer (RRP. £16)
I think I was most excited about this product this month. Stila is a brand that I have always wanted to try, and finally I got my chance! I received the shade 'Kitten Shimmer', which I think is, again, the shade that everyone received. I hardly ever use highlighters, but this highlighter is so pretty that I feel like I'll be using this every single day. It is extremely easy to use and blend, and helps create a perfect, natural look. I will definitely consider buying this again.

Overall, I am extremely happy with this box. It's hard to decide if I prefer this box over last month's, as both were amazing. This is definitely my favourite beauty box that I receive each month, and it's great value for a grand total of £21.49 a month. I will be continuing with this beauty box for as long as it continues to impress me.

I'll be back on Friday with my June favourites for you all!

My Beauty and Skincare Wishlist Summer 2016

Hello you beauties!

Welcome back to my blog! I can't believe that it's almost the end of the month already. It'll be Christmas before we know it.

I'm sure you're all exactly the same as me when we have massive lists of every makeup and skincare item that you want to own but could not afford all in one go. So I decided to share at least the majority of my list with you today (if I shared it all we might be here for a very long time). So enjoy!

The one item that I have probably wanted the most for the whole time I have been into makeup has to be the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara (£19). I have heard many great things about this mascara and have been so desperate to try it out but I never have the money to be able to buy it. I am planning for this to be my next big purchase.

This is something that everyone knows about - the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (£15.50 for the 100ml starter kit). I am always keen to try new things regarding skincare and have been wanting to try the Liz Earle products for a while now. I know a lot of people use this product and really like it, so hopefully I will get to try it one day in the future.

The next product is the Lights Camera Lashes mascara by Tarte (£17). Yes, it is another mascara. I have seen this in some beauty box reviews (I think it was a Look Incredible one) and again I have heard so many amazing things about this one too. The packaging is super cute and my favourite colour so this will definitely become part of my makeup collection one day!

I would really like the try the LUSH lip scrubs (£5.50 for 25g), especially the 'Bubblegum' one. I get very dry lips and I am always looking for something brilliant to use to prevent this from happening. I have heard that these products are great, they actually work and you can actually eat them too! I will definitely go out and purchase one of these soon.

Next is an eyeshadow palette! Finally, it's not another mascara! This palette that I want is the 'Eyes are the Window' eyeshadow palette in 'Soul' by Stila (£30). Now, this seems like a lot of money, especially when my loved Makeup Revolution 'Flawless' palette (which contains 32 shades compared to Stila's 12) is only £8. But this palette is just beautiful! I love the range of shades in this palette, I would definitely use all of the shades in it, whereas there are some shades in my current palette that I probably wouldn't touch. I think this eyeshadow is definitely worth the price and I am so desperate to own it!

I have always wanted to try the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash (£4.79). Again, I am keen to try a new skincare and I know this is quite popular among a lot of people. I also love love love the scent of pink grapefruit so I feel like I would love this product and I will probably try and buy this very soon.

A MAC lipstick (£15.50) would be the next item on my list. I don't know what shade I will get (just as long as it suits me then I don't think I mind what shade, although the shades 'Velvet Teddy' and 'Syrup' looks amazing). I feel like everyone who loves makeup will own a MAC lipstick at one point in their life. I already own a patentpolish lip pencil but I would love to own a lipstick from this brand too.

Finally, another product I want to try is a body sorbet from The Body Shop (c. £8) - I especially have my eye on the pink grapefruit one and the pinita colada one. I had never heard of a body sorbet until I saw them as I walked into the closest shop to me a few months ago. A body moisturiser!? I use body lotions - so I'm wondering if a body moisturiser would be any different. I am getting anxious to try one but I'm trying to use up all the body lotions that I own before I spend £8 on one of these.

So that is just part of my wishlist for you! I hope you enjoyed reading this. Why don't you share your wishlist with me?

I'll be back on Wednesday with another blog post for you all.

My Little Box Beauty Box Review June 2016

Hello you beauties!

I am back again with another blog post for you all. I have to admit, writing beauty box reviews has to be my favourite thing ever, other than receiving the boxes themselves.

This review is of the 'My Little Box', which this month has the theme of 'Summer Vibes', so I am expecting very summer-y and beach-y items. I'm so excited!

Price of box is £11 per monthAnd £3.95 P&P
There are 5 products in this month's box
If all full-sized products, this box would be worth c.
The brands included in this box are: My Little Beauty, Kusmi, Ciate and Too Faced

Let's start with the lifestyle items.

The first item I noticed was the Kusmi Iced Tea Aquafizz sachet. Now, I'm not a big fan of tea, I never have liked it (surprisingly to say I'm a British girl!) but my family seem to think I might like this, as it is iced and fruity. I got it in the flavour hibiscus, berries and red fruits, which seems nice and I usually drink berry fruit drinks, so I have a feeling I'll like it. I'm going to try it out and I'll tell you what I think. However, if I don't like this it doesn't mean you won't. Everyone likes different things. At the moment, there is an offer - buy 3 get 1 free, or you can buy a pack of 10 large Muslin bags of this iced tea for £14.

The next and final lifestyle item is a tank top style t-shirt from the My Little Box company itself, with the slogan 'Girls Just Wanna Have Sun' in blue text. I love the idea of this t-shirt, but the only problem is that it doesn't quite fit me! It's not really suitable for me to wear out and about (it's a bit of a see-through top too) but I have found it is great to use as a pyjama t-shirt for the warmer weather. This top costs £ which I think is a little bit much because of the quality of this product, but I am very happy to have received this in my box.

Now onto the beauty products...

Instead of the usually cloth drawstring bag you receive your beauty items in, this month we are given a little waterproof zip up bag that you can use to store your bikini. Seeing as I am not going away this summer and I don't go swimming anyway, I will not use this for it's intended purpose but I'm sure it will be great storage for other products.

The first thing I pulled out of this bag is the My Little Beauty Sea Salt Spray. You all remember when I mentioned the Shwarzkopf Sea Salt Spray back in my April favourites? Well you know that I love using this sort of product in my hair all year round, so I was extremely excited to see this product in there. This product costs £___ for a medium-ish sized bottle, which is a bit more than the larger Shwarzkopf bottle at 2 for £5, but I tried this product out straight away and it works much more effectively than other salt sprays I have tried - I love the texture it creates!  I would definitely recommend this product to you all.

Next was a Ciate mini nail polish, in the shade 'Pepperminty' (which you have guessed, is in the shade mint). I have heard of this brand before, heard it is great, but have never tried it before. So now I have the chance to! I love the shade - it's not exactly the same as shades I already own which is great, it is something different to try out. The size is perfect too, so I can pop it into my handbag without it taking up too much space so I can have it on my person in case I need to fix my nails at any point. I am really excited to try this out.

Finally, this last product is the product I was happiest to see. It is the Too Faced 'Glitter Glue' glitter eyeshadow primer. A Too Faced product!? I was over-the-moon when I saw this. I love Too Faced, and I wear a lot of glitter eyeshadows so this product seems perfect for me. I am yet to try it out, as I already have two eyeshadows primers open and in use but as soon as I use this eyeshadow primer I will let you know what I think. This product also only costs £10, so I will happily repurchase this product again for that price (only £2 more than my GOSH primer) if I like/love the product.

So that was my June 2016 'My Little Box' review for you all. I really do love this monthly box and would highly suggest that you consider a subscription with them too! The lifestyle items definitely give it that extra 'wow' factor in making it stand out from other boxes.

I'll be back on Saturday with another blog post for you all!

Boutique of Molly 'Leona' Floral Print Cami Top Review

Hello you beauties!

From the title of this post, you can probably guess that today's post is something a little different from usual. Yes, that's right, I'm finally bringing you all a fashion post!

Just over a week ago, I received a message from Boutique of Molly (www.boutiqueofmolly.com) asking if I would like to blog for them. Of course I said yes! So I ordered my item and it arrived on Wednesday (in its little pink parcel).

This product is priced on the website at £26.95 and then you pay £3.99 for delivery, and I would say this product is definitely worth the money.

Now, I have to say, the product is slightly different that I thought it would be - it does look slightly different on the model than it does in person. However, I still love the product and would see myself wearing it.

The fabric is light meaning that it is great for these warmer days we are experiencing, and the pattern is very grown-up and sophisticated. I would probably wear this for a meal out, though I do plan to wear it to college on day to see if I get any compliments.

My only issue with this product is that it is a tiny bit tighter than I would have liked it to have been. I got the size above my normal size anyway as I usually like a bit of extra room, but I could've done with two sizes bigger. It still fits okay and I'm sure I can make it work one way or another.

The website is so easy to use. Each section is clearly stated, and it is easy to navigate between pages, There are not tons of products on this site but I feel like that made it harder for me to choose what to get - I literally wanted everything!

I will definitely be buying something again from this website. The quality of the clothes is great, the price is reasonable, and the people that work there are just so sweet! I am so happy to be working with them!

Make sure to check their website out: www.boutiqueofmolly.com and let me know if you have bought anything :) Don't forget to tag your #BOMselfie on Twitter and Instagram!

I will be back on Wednesday with another blog post for you all.

What's In My Bag 2016

Hello you beauties!

Now, I don't know about you, but I love love love nosy-ing at what is in other people's bag. Seeing as you're reading this post, I assume that you're the same. So here is what is in my bag!

First off is everyone's essential; my smartphone! Now, I'm not as cool as everyone else, I don't own a fancy iPhone but I find that my Huawei Y550 is perfectly fine for how often I use it. I can get the apps that I want (Facebook, Messenger, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter etc,) so I see no need in buying an expensive phone.

Next is another essential - my purse! This is just a lovely navy, white and brown purse that only cost me £6 from Primark. I love Primark purses, they're so cute, are very good quality and are very cheap. It has 9 slots for cards, such as debit cards and loyalty cards, in the front and also a little zip up coin purse in the same section - although I use this to keep the cards I chose not to put in the card slots as I own a lot of cards. Then at the back there is a clutch style section where I keep any coins or notes that I may have, though I don't usually carry cash with me.

Then I have a little Zoella collar coin purse, which I use to store my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, my Bellapierre kabuki brush and my Boots vanilla lip butter (the current lip butter that I am using as I only use one at a time). This little purse is great as it protects my products really well and makes sure I can easily get to my powder when I need to.

Along the line of Zoella products, I also have the Zoella Blissful Mistful body mist, which I received for Christmas from my parents. This has been my go-to scent since then. I just love it, but seeing as it is a mist, the scent doesn't stick around for as long as I want - hence I keep it in my bag to top up throughout the day.

I also have my little compact mirror, which I suppose I could keep in the Zoella coin purse but I like slotting this in one of the front pockets of my bag - it means that I can grab it easily without having to rummage through my bag, so I can check my makeup throughout the day and touch up where necessary. I bought this very floral compact mirror from Primark a while ago, and I think it only cost me £1 or £1.50 so it was definitely a bargain!

Next is another Zoella product (if you haven't guessed already, I am a massive fan of her brand!) which is the Zoella Wonder Hand hand cream. I get naturally dry hands, so I always grab this and use it many, many times each day. It has such a great scent too which makes it just as exciting to use. And this also only cost me £5.50.

I also have some Cherry scented wipes from Accessorize which I received as a gift from my friend as she knows I love this sort of thing! They're just the right size to pack away into my bag and are great in times of need - such as running or fallen makeup e.g. mascara and eyeshadow! :0

Along the same lines, I also have a Pro Formula antibacterial hand gel that I bought from Tesco. I think they only cost like 70p or 80p each which is great. They're not scented but I don't care about that. I use them for the hygiene not the scent! It's no lie that I am a germaphobe and this product really keeps me calm and reassures me that my hands are as clean as can be whilst out and about.

Finally I have a few beauty items that I usually keep in the little pocket with my compact mirror. I have some mini items, which I will talk about first. These are a lip liner, lip gloss and nail polish all in a very pink shade. I usually only use these if I've been travelling or if I've been in a rush. I don't usually go for this sort of pink myself, but I received these in a little gift set for Christmas. They're from Matalan and they came in little crackers along with other products, an blue and purple eyeshadow and a black eyeliner, again both are minis.

Finally, I have a loved lipstick. This is a a matte lipstick from Essence (found at Wilko's) in, ironically, the shade 'Oh So Matt!', which is a very nude shade. If I'm honest, I completely forgot that I had this in my bag - I thought I had lost it! :( I'm so glad that I found it again as it is usually my go-to lip shade.

So that was everything in my bag! I hope you enjoyed reading this and didn't get too bored. I never realised that I carried so much in my bag with me. It's shocking!

I'll be back on Saturday at 9am with another blog post for you all!

Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review June 2016

 Hello you beauties!

This is always the most exciting time of the month for me! I get so excited for my beauty box subscriptions to arrive. In fact, that leads on to a funny story.

At 7am on the 3rd June (when this box actually arrived), I received a text to tell me t.hat my parcel would be delivered that day. Of course, knowing what it was, I got extremely excited. I spent most of the day pacing up and down all around the house, impatiently waiting. I got tired of pacing so I ended up sitting by the window, watching outside ready for when the van pulled up. And eventually, it did. At just gone 11am. I was so excited I think I looked like a little excited puppy. And the postman saw me. And he walked up my path chuckling to himself. It was so embarrassing!

Now, onto the box review!

Price of box is £11.25 per month (if 12 month subscription). No fee for P&P
There are 8 products in this month's box
If all full-sized products, this box would be worth c.£160
The brands included in this box are: Mr Blanc, Naobay, Spa Majik, Caudalie, Cowshed, Tan Organic and Korres

As we have for the past few editions of this box, we received this month's issue of Elle magazine (RRP. £4.10). However, I don't usually read these.

Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturiser (Given: 22ml. Full size: 50ml for £32.95)
I haven't tried this product yet, but I am very excited about it. It's made from natural ingredients which I am always keen to try as I am finding a lot of products are causing break outs on my skin at the moment. Also, 22ml is a very generous size to include in the box and I can see myself using this throughout the summer if i like it enough. I may even do a review on this product in the future once I have tried it.

Mr Blanc Teeth Whitening Strips (Given: 3 sets. Full size: 14 day supply for £24.99)
Whitening my teeth is something I have always wanted to do yet I cannot afford to get it done by the dentist and I am too scared to try it myself. So receiving these strips in the box is actually very good as it is encouraging me to do it. However, I am not a massive fan of these strips. The strips themselves are very big - way too big for my teeth. The strips feel very uncomfortable in my mouth and the amount of gel left on my teeth afterwards made me feel very nauseated! Also, they hardly whitened my teeth! Maybe it takes a few days for them to take effect, or maybe I was doing something wrong. I will try these again though and let you know what I think,

Korres Bergamot Pear Shower Gel (Given: 40ml worth £3. Full size: 250ml currently 2 for £8 on lookfantastic.com)
I was really happy to see this product in the box. I love love love scented shower gels, and after trying the eye primer that I received in the May Look Incredible beauty box, I was keen to try this brand again. The smell is great, and very different from what I am used to, but it is a great addition to my skincare collection. I haven't tried this product yet, but from first impressions I am really impressed with this product and will be trying it as soon as possible.

Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream (Given: 7ml. Full size: 15ml for £49)
If I am honest, I have never used any Caudalie products before. I have heard great things about them, but never used any before. I have also never used eye cream before, so this was a great addition to the box to persuade me to try something new. And I honestly love this cream. Even after only one use, my eyes already seemed better. They seemed lifted and brighter and it also helped with my under eye dark circles. I will definitely be using up all of this sample and even though it costs a lot of money for the full size, I might even consider buying this again.

Dead Sea Spa Magik Beauty Balm (Full size: 50ml for £13.50)
I have always been keen to try a BB cream, because as the weather is warming, I find that foundations are becoming too heavy and therefore I have heard a BB cream is much lighter on the skin. I tried this out in place of my foundation in my make-up routine, and it is brilliant. It doesn't offer as much coverage as my foundations do, but I don't expect massive coverage from something similar to a tinted moisturiser. I will definitely be using this throughout the summer.

Tan Organic Self Tan Oil (Given: 25ml. Full size: 100ml for £24.99)
I am actually really excited to try this product out. I have never been brave enough to used tanning products before (until I received the tanning moisturiser in a My Little Box beauty box) as it seems so difficult and fiddly and frustrating to do. However, this product seems brilliant. It's an oil so I presume it won't be as messy - obviously as it even says that you don't need to use a tanning glove. I'm going to try this out as soon as I can, and if it gives me the results I want/expect then I will definitely buy it again.

Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream (Given: 50ml. Full size: 300ml for £16)
I think I was most excited about this product. That is because I just love hand creams, as I get very dry hands. Usually I use the Zoella Wonder Hand hand cream or the Baylis and Harding Beauticology Raspberry Cream Macaroon Hand and Body Lotion, so this was a hugely welcomed addition to this month's box. I loved how smooth it made my skin, but I wasn't too keen on the scent. With it having grapefruit notes to it, I thought I would love this scent. But with all the different notes together, it is just too overpowering and not so pleasant a smell. I may learn to like this scent, but I am not overly pleased with this product.

Overall, I am really pleased with this box. The box is very skincare heavy, which I wasn't too keen about at first but this box has actually really impressed me! The problem with skin care is that it can be very hit and miss with me, but I am sure I will use everything in this month's box.

I am really looking forward to next month's box - genuinely this time.

P.S. I don't know if you can notice, but the pictures look of a different quality than usual. That will be because I am no longer using the camera on my phone, but rather on my actual camera. I have it up and running properly now, so I hope you like these better quality pictures on my blog from now on.

40 Beauty Questions Tag!

Hello you beauties!

I am back again with another tag! I love doing posts like this because not only does it allow you to learn more about me make-up wise, I also learn new things about myself. 34. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Usually because most of the time I leave it too late to do my makeup so I end up rushing it

35. Name a makeup crime that you hate?
What I call 'slug' eyebrows. Really thick eyebrows. I'll insert a picture if you don't know what I mean.

36. Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I like more colour on my eyes, even though I do use a lot of nudes I do sometimes venture out and use blues and reds, whereas I pretty much stick with nudes and light pinks on my lips

37. Which celebrity always has great make up?
I have answered this before; Selena Gomez

38. If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
My Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette because I hate going out without filling my eyebrows in!

39. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
I sometimes do like when I am going to work. I hate going out without makeup on but sometimes I just have to - it's not that I'm not allowed to wear makeup to work but I work around fast food and get very warm and then my makeup just basically 'falls' off and goes all smudgy and patchy so there's really no point wearing it to work.

40. Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Not really, but then again I don't necessarily like how I look either way

BONUS QUESTION 1: In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Maybelline. I have only ever had a problem with one of their products but I bought that from somewhere for really cheap. But overall I find their products to be almost perfect

BONUS QUESTION 2: What do you think of Makeup?
Makeup is great and is fun to use. And if you want to use it as a cover up then I have no problem with that because I know some people feel more comfortable wearing it (like me)

Well that was my 40 Beauty Questions tag! This was so fun to do and I hope you find it equally as fun to read (even if it was really long!)!

I'll be back again on Saturday with another post for you all but until then, enjoy!

Thank you!!

My Everyday Make-Up look!

Hello you beauties!

I am the sort of person that cannot leave the house without wearing make-up, unless I am going to work. I usually use the same products every day, and often the same look everyday, so I thought I would bring you a post telling you my everyday make-up routine/look! Enjoy!

1. The first step will be to apply a spritz of my Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray (£6), While it is a setting spray, I do find that it really helps to hold your make-up if applied under the primer base as well as over the top of your powder.

2. I then apply my oh-so-loved Nivea Daily Essentials Hydration Primer (£4.99) as a base for my make-up. If I'm honest, this is the only primer I have ever tried so I can't claim that it is the best, but I do think that it does a pretty good job. I will be open to trying other ones in the future but I am pretty happy sticking to this one for now.

3. I then apply my foundation, and I use the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Anti-Fatigue Foundation (£8.99), which is know is also popular among YouTubers such as Zoe Sugg and Louise Pentland. This is the first foundation I used as I was scared to try foundation, worried that I'd end up over-doing it. But I found this foundation is really easy to use, and I now use it pretty much everyday to try and create a flawless look.

4. Next I apply concealer. I know some people like to apply their concealer before their foundation, but I find that I can offer myself better coverage if I apply concealer afterwards. I use the Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette (£6) and while not all the shades are perfect, it is really easy to mix different shades to create something that you want and I find myself using this religiously on any spots/blemishes and under-eye bags.

5. Then, I decide to apply my blusher. I never really used to wear blusher, but have decided to experiment more with it now and I am actually loving it! I find myself switching between the Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice (£6) which offers 8 different shades from brighter, lighter pinks to darker, more toned down pinks, to even a coral shade. Even though they're really pigmented, they don't stand out immensely which creates the perfect look. I am also enjoying using my beloved bareMinerals READY blush (£22) in the shade the Whisper, which is a very toned down, neutral shade, and I usually use this on my more natural, barely there, days.  While it's more expensive - over 3 times the price for only one shade!- it really is good quality and will see myself buying their blushers again in the future.

6. Then, it is time for the eyebrows! I used to use pencils, but found they could be tricky as the shades weren't always perfect for my eyebrows, so I recently invested in the Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette (£6.99) in the shade Soft Brown. I am extremely pleased with this product and it's so easy to use. I find myself reaching for it everyday now.

7. Now, I would apply my eye primer onto my lids ready for my eyeshadow. Usually I use the GOSH Prime 'n' Refresh Illuminating Roll-On Eye Primer (£7.99), which is great and helps my eyeshadow to stay perfect for a few hours and it is still easy for me to apply my eyeshadow. It does crease, however, after a few hours, but it's better than I expected. However, I also often use the Korres Anti-Ageing Eye Primer (£15). This primer is easy to apply and blend, and I sometimes only apply this without putting eyeshadow on top and it gives a little colour and light to my eyes. It's not amazingly easy to apply your eyeshadow on top, but I find this works even better than the GOSH one does. I can go hours wearing my makeup and not having to top up my make-up and most of the time when I return home 8 hours later, my eyeshadow is almost as perfect when I return as when I went out.

8. Then I apply my eyeshadow which is my favourite part of my whole routine. I only ever use the Makeup Revolution Flawless Palette (£8) with 32 shades. With such a huge array of shades on offer, I can create countless combination looks just from the one palette. I usually use a plain neutral shade on the whole of my lid, and then a glitter shade down near my eyelashes which I then blend out. Having not even dared use glitter eyeshadows in the past, this palette is really helping me to try something new.

9. What better way to complete your eye make-up than the perfect mascara!? My favourite mascara, and also usually my go-to mascara is the Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volum' Waterproof Mascara (£6.99). I prefer waterproof mascaras as I find that they stay put a lot longer than non-waterproof ones, and that's useful because I am on the move A LOT. This mascara also adds great volume and a lot of colour to your lashes.

10. Next it is time for my lips. This, I find is always the hardest part of the whole look. Do I go for a matte look or stick to gloss? Do I wear lipstick or use a lip crayon? Will this go with my lip liner or should I just not bother with that today? So many questions, so much choice. Usually, I go for my Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter (£2.99) in the shade Cappuccino which is a very basic but subtle neutral shade for my lips. I am also loving my Essence Long-Lasting Lipstick (£2.30) in the shade Natural Beauty which is a very toned down pink, perfect for that pop of colour that isn't over the top.

11. Finally, I finish with any spritz of the Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray, and then a light dusting of my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99) in the shade Translucent. This has to be the best powder I have ever used. It does exactly what it promises, and does not get patchy at all. I would highly recommend this product, and it creates the perfect finish to my look.

So that is my daily look.

Overall, my everyday make-up look totals £68.24 - £91.94! Wow! A lot more than I expected!

Maybe one day I will be brave enough to upload a picture of me wearing that look, but for now I will leave you with this post and your vivid imaginations. I hope you all enjoyed reading this and I will be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

Thank you!!

Monthly Favourites May 2016

Hello you beauties!

So another month has gone, and it’s time for my monthly favourites post again. So, enjoy!

1. H&M face masks (£1.99)
These have been mentioned on one of my haul posts before today. I bought a few at the beginning of the month and have pretty much reused them all - I have even re-purchased a few since then. I mainly love the peel-off masks, though I have not been a fan of the self-warming ones! They have been great for my skin at the moment, especially the Tea Tree one, as I have been having problems with blemishes and spots a lot recently.

2. Essence nail polishes (£1.60 each)
I have always been a fan of adding a bit of colour to your nails, but have not wanted to spend a lot of money on just one because I usually only wear them for a couple of days before removing it (due to work). So when I discovered the brand Essence and saw their nail polishes for such a cheap price, I thought I would try them out. I only bought a couple at first, but loved them and now I own almost 1 of every colour they offer! You can mix and match them too, and I often wear more than one. They are great quality and hardly ever chip and I have found myself using them a lot over the past month.

3. Lip Crayons (Ranging in price depending on the brand)
Back when I was first experimenting with make-up at the age of 11 (way back in 2008), I used to only use cheap lip gloss, most which I accumulated free from magazines, and then when I was 12 I purchased my first lipstick. Ever since then, I have only used lip balms or lip sticks. Within the past year, I discovered lip crayons and since then I have found myself with so many in my possession that they're pretty much all I use now. They're quick and easy to use, and add brilliant colour. My favourite include the brands Collection (their lip butters cost around £2.99 each), Rimmel London (See my previous post for a whole section about their colour balms retailing at around £5.99 each) and MAC (their PatentPolish Lip Crayons cost a hefty £17.50 each).

4. Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette in the shade 'Soft Brown' (£6.99)
I have mentioned this in two posts before now, the previous one about my top 10 under £10 and my massive haul! I am keen to experiment with products for my eyebrows, and since not having much success with the Rimmel London eyebrow pencils, I have found myself reaching for this product most days over this past month. I know I haven't owned their product for very long, but I can see myself using this for months to come.

5. Beauty Boxes (Look Fantastic - £11.25 p/m; My Little Box - £14.95 p/m; Look Incredible - £20.49 p/m)
You should all know by now that in April I subscribed to my first ever beauty box, the Look Fantastic one. While overall I have been disappointed with the two boxes I have received (although other people may love them), I have to keep with it as I have a 12 month subscription that I cannot cancel. I have read the sneak peek for the June box though, and that has me really excited.
The second box I subscribed for was the My Little Box beauty box, and I signed up for this just days after the Look Fantastic one. I was keen to subscribe as this box offers lifestyle items as well as just beauty and skin care. So far, I have been extremely impressed with this box and I am excited to receive my June box already.
The third box was one that I was never really meant to subscribe too, but after seeing all of the amazing reviews about it, I knew I just had to! It is the Look Incredible beauty box, which offers 5 full sized products a month for only £18.99 (plus £2.50 P&P). This box has included brands such as MAC, NARS, Korres etc, in the past. Even though I have only received one box of this subscription so far, I am excited to see what the future boxes bring to my life.

6. Netflix Original Show 'Orange is the New Black' (Netflix monthly subscriptions start at £6.99 a month)
Unfortunately, if you don't have Netflix then it will be hard for you to legally watch and follow this show. I will admit, I mainly purchased my Netflix subscription just so I could watch OITNB, and I am glad I did. This show has started a few years ago, but in light of the next season being dropped in June, I decided to watch seasons 1-3 again. I always have loved this show and found it to be a great show to watch to relax during this stressful exam period. I will not go into detail about what this show is about, but this series is based off of a real life story. I am excited for the new season to be dropped and I am sure you will hear my opinion of it soon.

So that was my monthly favourites post for May! Again, short but sweet. I am loving a lot of things this month, so it will be impossible to put them all into one post (okay, it is possible but it'll be extremely long and boring for you all) so this is just a selection of things that I am loving. Mainly the things I am loving the most.

There will be another monthly favourites post for June this time next month, but until then I will continue to bring you all a post every Wednesday and Saturday (at 9am if I can!).

Thank you!!!
