GeekGear World of Wizardry Box Review February 2017

Hello you beauties!

Can you believe that it's almost the end of February already! I'm counting down the days now until summer (I'm getting really fed up with college now) - just less than 4 months until college is over! So today's post is the last post of the month and I'm really excited to get started with it! So here is this month's GeekGear World of Wizardry subscription box review!

As per usual, the first item I pulled out of this month's box is the t-shirt - something that we get in every month's box. The t-shirt in this box is one of the cutest ones we have ever received. It is called the 'Beautiful Beasts' t-shirt as it really is a t-shirt with beautiful animals on it. It is really simple and so really easy to wear so I can see myself wearing it a lot.

Let's talk about the print in this month's box. It is amazing, called a movie print. It features Daniel Radcliffe posing as Harry Potter and Eddie Redmayne posing as Newt Scamander (obviously this is to celebrate the release of Fantastic Beasts a couple of months ago). This print is the perfect addition to my print collection.

I was extremely excited to pull out the Wizarding World colouring book from this month's box. Some of you may know that I once used to sit and colour literally every night and I still sometimes do as it is a great activity to help de-stress. I also became obsessed with collecting Harry Potter colouring books so I am glad to add this one to my collection. The pictures in it are lovely too.

In this box we also received a Daily Prophet Reporter Journal notebook which I am happy to now own. As a writer (and also a future Creative Writing student), I am always in need of new notebooks and the detailing on the pages is beautiful. I can't wait to use this more.

Before we move onto the house themed products in this month's box, I have one final item to mention to you all. It is the Gryffindor Sword letter opener which is honestly one of the most adorable things I have ever seen. I probably won't use this (mainly because I don't receive many letters) but I definitely will have it on display all the time - the detailing on it is just beautiful!

Now we can move onto the house themed products, which surprisingly there were more than usual (usually we only get 1 or 2). For those of you who don't know, my house is Slytherin, so I was excited to see the green and silver Slytherin tie in this month's box! I have been desperate to own one of these for so long, and I even saw some when I was at the Harry Potter studio tour in London last year but I couldn't justify paying almost £23 for one! And I'm glad I didn't because now I own one and I didn't even pay that much for the whole box! I think we all know now what I am dressing up as for Halloween this year...!

The second house item in his month's box is a Slytherin (or whatever your chosen house is) scarf! I am so so happy to own this, and I know it's going to be perfect paired with the gloves and hat that we received in previous boxes. It's also perfect for the chilly, windy weather we have been experiencing recently (goodbye Storm Doris!).

The final house item and the final item in the whole box is a lovely little Hogwarts bookmark, that has a strip of colour on it to represent your house - so naturally mine has a strip of green on it. I love these metal bookmarks as I do already own a Slytherin one that I bought at the Harry Potter Studio Tour last year and I find that they hold very well in your book and looks very very pretty too.

I was really impressed with this month's box and I am still happy to pay each month for this subscription box as it is definitely worth the money. Every item in this month's box is definitely something that I will use. Definitely think about subscribing to this box if you can afford it!

I'll be back on Wednesday with my monthly favourites post for you all!

I hope you all liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends.

GeekGear World of Wizardry Harry Potter box October 2016

Hello you beauties!

I have seriously been too excited for this box. I am a massive Harry Potter fan - massive! - and so Harry Potter merchandise is everything I live for. This box is perfect for that. So let's see what was in this month's box.

Again, I chose to have a Slytherin themed box.

This box costs: £19.99 + £2.99 p&p
There are 9 items in this box

Let's first talk about the t-shirt in this month's box. It is actually amazing. It is a t-shirt that says 'I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good'. You could get a grey or a purple one and I am so happy that I got the purple one (it's my favourite colour!). I can't wait to start wearing it!

The next item I am really excited about is the 'I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good' travel mug. While it is only a plastic one and probably won't keep drinks warm for very long, it is perfect to keep drinks in while out and about. It is perfect for the coming winter months and will encourage me to drink more warm drinks during the day.

Next I pulled out a house 'Prefect' badge, which I thought was amazing-ly cool. Mine is green, for the Slytherin house. I have seen these around before and have always wanted one, and now I am glad to finally own one. I will probably wear this pin with every outfit.

Next are two posters which I am extremely pleased with. One is a house poster. Mine is green that says 'Keep Calm and Be A Slytherin'. I love this poster, and I have always wanted one. The other poster is one of the rules that Dolores Umbridge created during Harry's fifth year, which is one of the most awesome posters I have ever owned. I am so excited that they did this.

They also included some ribbon with the Hogwarts crest and all of the House crests. It looks cool, but I really don't see why they included it. I know I'll have no use for it.

Next is another AMAZING product. In the box, we got a 2017 illustrated calendar! I am not usually the sort of person to use a calendar as I usually forget to change it each month or to even use it in general. However, the illustrations on this calendar are so beautiful, so I know I will definitely be using this every day next year. I can't wait for it to be 2017 already!

Then there is a wall hanging of 'Platform 9 and 3/4' which is actually metallic, and so I feel would be greatly protected. This is really quite cool and I'm going to make sure to find somewhere to hang it in my bedroom, especially once I go to university.

The next and final item in the box is a double-sided print, which I have already put up on my wall. One side is another 'Platform 9 and 3/4' print, and on the other side has a picture of Hogwarts. Of course I chose the picture of Hogwarts to display on my wall. I love these prints that they put in these boxes. The illustrations are amazing and they're all such good quality.

Again, I absolutely loved this box and I really really cannot wait for next month's box. And apparently November's box will be their Christmas box which I am so excited about as Christmas is my favourite time of the year!

I'll be back on Tuesday with my monthly favourites for you all!

GeekGear World of Wizardry Harry Potter box September 2016

Hello you beauties!

As you all may know, I used to subscribe to the 'My Little Box' beauty boxes, but I have swapped that box for an even cooler Harry Potter subscription box. While I know it's not beauty related, I thought I would still write my monthly reviews on it, as I know some of you may still be interested in it.

This box costs: £19.99 + £2.99 p&p
There are 8 items in this box

You get to choose the house you want for the box, or choose to have a mixture. Obviously I'm a Slytherin, and so as soon as I opened the box, I saw the green tissue paper showing my house colour, holding the surprises together with a lovely 'Dark Mark' sticker.

The first item that stood out in this month's box was a lovely t-shirt. The t-shirt was an Ollivander's t-shirt and I have worn it as much as I can already. I was unsure what size to choose so I went with a size bigger than I usually get, and it's huge on me, so it's a good job I love wearing baggy clothes. It feels and looks great though and I am extremely happy with this first product.

Next is another major product in the box - Voldemort's wand! When I went to 'The Making of Harry Potter' for the first time back in June, I bought Hermione Granger's wand then and have wanted to add to my miniscule collection of wands since then. Even though they're not of the same brand, I'm so happy to have another major wand in my collection and I hope there will be more to come in the future.

The next item is a large-ish badge that says 'Proud to be a Slytherin' with the Slytherin snake on it. This is a lovely addition to the box, but because the badge is so big, I doubt I'll wear it out of the house. I'm just going to find a special place to display it in my house.

Then I pulled out a Hogwarts tea towel! The design of this product is really special - with 'Hogwarts written on it and part of the castle drawn around it. I doubt I will use this much now, I might save it for if I ever get to go to university but I do honestly believe this is a lovely addition to the box, and is a decent sized towel.

One product I was extremely excited to see was the Marauders Map! Both my brother and I have always always wanted one of these, and now I finally have one! The quality of it is great - whilst you can't actually see people walking around on it, the detail put into the actual map and outline of the castle is brilliant, and the feel of the product is great. It is made of extremely glossy paper which I feel will make it last a whole lot longer.

Next is a cardboard glossy Azkaban Poster, which I am actually very happy about. It is very cartoon like but also very detailed and a decent size too. I have a lot of posters on my wall already, so I will probably save this for when I go to university to decorate my room, but I am very happy with the inclusion of posters in this subscription box, and I feel like it will last for a very long time.

I must have actually screamed when I saw the Hogwarts Letters in the box this month. They're so detailed and look so life like, and they gave us two as well, so it's a great idea to send one to a friend! My brother loves Harry Potter just as much as I do, so I decided to 'send' one of these letters to him and he loved it. It's a great addition to my Harry Potter merchandise collection.

The final product in this box, and again a pretty amazing product, is a Deathly Hallows Necklace! I have honestly ALWAYS wanted one of these and now I finally have one! What more, the part of the Resurrection Stone can actually turn, which I find makes this even more unique. The chain is a decent length and the fact that it is silver makes it a brilliant item, and I cannot wait to wear it more in the future.

I cannot begin to describe how much I love this box. While I love my beauty subscription boxes for the makeup additions to my collection each month, this Harry Potter box gives me an acceptable excuse to 'geek out' once a month while getting great and decent quality products for such a low price each month. I already cannot wait for next month's box already, and I would definitely recommend that you all treat yourself to this box as well. But be quick! As you can imagine, this box sells out extremely quickly (usually within a couple of weeks).

I'll be back on Saturday with my monthly favourites for you all!
