GeekGear World of Wizardry Box Review January 2017
Hello you beauties!
I always get extremely excited about this box so I was so happy to open it up this month. So let's not waste anymore time, and just get on with revealing this month's box's content!
The first item (like usual) is the month's t-shirt. This month, it is one in your house colour, so obviously mine is in a green. A bright green to be exact. Which is not something that I find very flattering but it'll be great to wear on a lazy day at home. I just love the print on the front of it this month, with it being the Hogwarts logo. I'm sure I'll wear this one a lot.
The next item is a pair of socks, with these having your house logo on them. So obviously I got some Slytherin socks. I'm always loving and needing new socks so I am really happy that these are in the box this month.
There were two posters included in this months box. One is the Daily Prophet front cover featuring Dumbledore, and the other focuses on spells that we are introduced to within the Harry Potter stories and the uses for them. Both are brilliant and will make a great addition to my bedroom wall.
They also included a Gringotts Vault key which is something I am very excited about now owning this as it fits perfectly with the Galleon we received in last month's box. And it's something great to talk to my friends about, and great to have on display in my room.
Next is a tiny Weasley Wizard Wheeze's Jelly Bean jar, which I must admit I am slightly disappointed about. I thought they might provide something more exciting like a practical joke. Instead this jar is tiny. And I'm not really keen on jelly beans. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find some use for this item.
Another house product that we got was a cushion cover which is honestly one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I'm going straight out to buy a cushion to fit it so it can be placed on my bed and be great decoration for my room. I'm even going to make sure to take this to uni with me.
Finally, as per usual, they included a print in this month's box again. This month it is a Patronus print which looks amazing and I can't wait to put it up on my wall with all of my other prints that I've collected over the past few months.
If I'm honest, this box hasn't been the best but I still really do believe it is worth every penny I spend on it. I can't wait to see what they bring us next month.
I'll be back on Wednesday with my monthly favourites post for you all!
I hope you all liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends.

Look Incredible Beauty Box Review January 2017
Hello you beauties!
I'm back today with my favourite beauty box and I am happy that it's the first one of the year. I wasn't expecting amazing-ness, but what did they deliver? One amazing box!
The first item that I noticed in this month's box was the BareMinerals Daily Recovery Concentrate. I have never actually used any of their skincare before but I have always been impressed by their makeup so I'm really looking forward to trying this product out. Especially with the weather being so cold and my skin drying out a lot, new skincare items is always needed.
Another skincare item in this month's box is the Bee Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator. I don't know if anyone really knows this about me but I really do love exoliators as I feel like they do wonders for my skin. Especially during this cold weather. They always help me feel refreshed and I hope this one will too.
I have again been able to add another makeup brush to my collection and it honestly is the most beautiful brush I have ever seen! It is by Too Faced, and I have used their makeup before but never their brushes. The colour of this brush is beautiful and it is so so soft. I'm so scared to use it because I don't want to ruin it. I'm sure it'll be amazing though.
Another makeup product included in this box is another BareMinerals product. It is their 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow and I got the shade 'Soft Moss'. I was a bit unsure about this product because I've never been a massive fan of cream products. However, this eyeshadow is really good. Basically as soon as you apply it, it turns into a powder and is really easy to blend out. I love the colour too - a slightly greyish colour. I can definitely see myself using this a lot.
The final product in this months box actually made me so excited that I screamed. It's a mascara from the brand Rosie for Autograph, and for a very long time I have wanted to try out this brand but never got round to buying anything. And now I finally own on of the products! I love the packaging too! It's such a pretty colour and so simplistic too. The wand seems great and easy to use, although I haven't actually tried it out yet because I own so many mascaras!
So this is probably one of my favourite editions of this box of all time. They really did deliver excellence straight into the new year and I hope they keep this up.
I'll be back on Saturday with my last post of the month!
I hope you all liked today's post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends.

My Favourite High End Products
Hello you beauties!
Today is the last post of my 'Brand Fortnight'! I hope you all enjoyed this little series so far and I hope to bring some more series in the future (I would love your suggestions to see what you would like to see). Today's post is not one brand in particular, but I will be focusing on the high end makeup that I have in my collection. I would've focused on just one high end brand but I only own like one or two items per brand. Maybe I can do one more focused in the future when my makeup collection grows.
I talk about this product a lot, but my favourite high end product of all time has to be the Stila 'Eyes Are The Window' palette. I have the 'Soul' palette and I really do love it. It has to be my most favourite eyeshadow palette of all time as the eyeshadows are so pigmented and so easy to blend and just the perfect shades. And its only £30!
The first ever high end product that I ever owned is the Mac Patent Polish Lip Pencil in 'Hopelessly Devoted' and it really is a lovely product that I am pleased to own. While it isn't the most wearable colour ever, as it is quite a fuchsia pink colour (which I usually just wear on nights out), it is very moisturising and the quality of the product is amazing. I must admit this is probably the best lip product that I have ever used.
The Benefit Hoola Bronzer is probably the best bronzer that I have ever used, as it's the only one that I have found that doesn't make me look orange. I only have the miniature version of this product but it has lasted for so long that I'm glad that I didn't spend a lot of money on it. It's a great product to contour with as it's not too harsh and easy to blend out.
I also own the Korres eye primer which honestly isn't the best primer I have (I would definitely choose my GOSH one over this one), but it still is one of my most used items in my makeup collection. It's easy to use and a brilliant base for your eyeshadow.
I now own two Bare Minerals blushers and I really do love them. They're both similar shades (nude shades with one being slightly shimmer-y) and I usually use these more than other blushers on a daily basis. They're perfect for everyday use and can be used as subtle or as harsh as you want.
Finally, a new face primer has made its way into my collection recently and yes, it is a high end one. It is the Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer which is one of the best primers I have ever used as not only does it offer a great base for your face makeup, it is also very refreshing and moisturising. I am definitely buying a full sized version in the future and I would recommend that you all do too.
I'd love to hear about everyone's favourite high end products! Just tell me about them in the comments below.
I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

My Favourite Makeup Revolution Products
Hello you beauties!
I'm back again for another one of my 'Brand Fortnight' posts and today I will be talking about what is probably my favourite brand of all time - Makeup Revolution! Obviously it's my favourite, as my advent calendar was from them and quite a few of my makeup products are actually by that brand.
My favourite makeup product of all time from Makeup Revolution has to be their Ultra Eyeshadows 'Flawless' palette, which is a mixture of matte and shimmer shades (although mostly shimmer). Whilst they're not the most pigmented eyeshadows I have ever used (nothing will ever beat my Stila palette), they're very good for the price - I think it only cost me like £8 - but they're great to use no matter what situation you want to use them for and you can create so many great looks from it.
I honestly really love their eyeshadows, as another one of their products that I love is their Redemption palette which is purely shimmer shades. As you all know, I love shimmer shades! They make any look perfect. I wasn't expecting this palette to be any good as it is only worth around £4 but it is actually an amazing palette and I would definitely recommend that you add it to your makeup collection as soon as possible!
Recently, I have also started to love their highlighters again. I know in a past post I have said that I don't like their baked highlighters but I decided to try them out again and have found a love for them. The one that I love the most has to be their white/gold toned one that I got in their advent calendar as it gives a lovely but subtle glow and I use it now on an every day basis.
Their baked products are just so good so of course now I am mentioning their baked blushers, which are absolutely amazing! The colour isn't too pigmented but in a way I love this with blushers as I don't want that colour to be too intense, just subtle, and the fact that these are baked blushers means that getting the subtle colour that you want.
I never thought I would actually say this, but I really do love their lipsticks! Again, not very pigmented but are great if you just want a sheer wash of colour and are very cheap, usually at £1 or £2 each. They have such a massive variety of colours too so you can find something for any look you want to create.
Finally, I want to talk about their setting sprays. I must admit this part of the post is quite biased as I have only used setting sprays by this brand but that's because I really do love them. They really do hold your makeup very well and don't feel too heavy on my skin. The only downside is the medicine scent to it, but it only lasts for a few seconds so it's not a big deal.
These were just a few of my favourite Makeup Revolution products and hopefully in the future this list will soon grow. Please share your favourite Makeup Revolution products with me. It might be something that I've not tried before and I'd love to try some new things!

My Favourite Rimmel Products
Hello you beauties!
Welcome to the second post of my brand fortnight! Last time we looked at the NYX products that I loved. Now, it's Rimmel London's turn. Rimmel is probably the first drugstore brand that I ever used and while it is not the best brand out there, it certainly is good if you want something decent for a cheap price.
One of the foundations I use a lot at the moment is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation and while it is not the best foundation I have ever used (I prefer my Bourjois one most of all), it certainly is great for the price. It offers great coverage for around £8 and doesn't go cake-y or oxidise on your skin.
Before I discovered the Freedom Brow Pomade and Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil, I would use the Rimmel eyebrow pencils quite a bit. They weren't the best, especially because I couldn't find a shade that matched my brows perfectly but if used with a delicate hand, then they could be enough just for everyday use. And they're a great bargain for just £3.99!
My staple powder has always been Rimmel's Stay Matte powder as it is a great setting powder. It really does make you look matte and doesn't make your makeup cake-y throughout the day. It's great if you just want a cheap powder too, as they're only £3.99 each.
When I first heard about their Kate Moss lipsticks, I was excited. And the shade range is amazing. They're amazingly pigmented and very creamy. They're easy to apply and don't dry out my lips. I would definitely recommend these lipsticks if you want some on a budget.
Rimmel's lipstick crayons were the first makeup products I ever used and I am honestly so amazed by the quality. I bought them from B&M for only £2.99 each compared to the £8 they'd cost in Superdrug and Boots. Even for £8 they're worth it. They are very pigmented and creamy and last basically all day. These are products that I will always use, even in the future.
So these were my favourite Rimmel products. I'd love to hear what Rimmel products you love too!
I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.

My Favourite NYX Products
Hello you beauties!
So for the next couple of weeks, on this blog I am planning to do what I call the 'Brand Fortnight', which is where I focus on a certain brand on each post, and tell you my favourite products from each brand. This week, I am going to be focusing on the brand NYX, which is a brand that I have only recently discovered and have already collected a decent amount of their products already.
I do love their single eyeshadows and already have a few already. I love that they allow you to create your own 4-shade or 9-shade eyeshadow palettes, and so I've already made up two of the 4-shade palettes. One with neutral shades and one with red/pink shades. I love the quality of these eyeshadows. They're incredibly creamy and pigmented, easily blend-able. And such a bargain for just £2.50 each!
I have come to love their finishing powder too. Usually I just use Rimmel Stay Matte powder, but I decided to look for something new to try out, and I wanted to try out a loose powder this time. So I picked up this one. And it's great! It's translucent so you know you could use it no matter what shade your skin is. It's a little bit messy but it's worth it as it really does set your makeup well.
I find myself reaching for their Proof It! Waterproof Mascara Top Coat quite a bit recently. Most mascaras that I use these days are from beauty boxes, which more often than not are not waterproof. So this is the perfect product to use. Just one coat of this makes any mascara waterproof. And it doesn't affect how your mascara looks either. It is definitely worth the money.
Their Liquid Suede lipsticks are also products that I have grown to love. They're not the easiest products to use and don't have the best staying power but can look great if you have the time and patience to use it. They have a great range of colours to choose from too.
Recently I discovered their Soft Matte Lip Creams, which I have been scared to try before as I have been scared to use matte lip products. However, being more brave recently, I decided to buy myself a nude one of these and I actually love them. The application is so easy, they're very pigmented and the staying power is amazing. I would definitely recommend them!
NYX's lip products really are my favourite lip products, and I have been loving their butter glosses most of all. They have just ordinary glosses or intense colour glosses. I don't usually opt for glosses but these are a brilliant quality. They're not too sticky and also have an amazing pigmentation - even the ordinary ones! I find that I use these more than anything in my makeup looks.
So these were my favourite NYX products but hopefully I'll be able to add more to this list in the future. Please share your favourite NYX products in the comments below.

Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review January 2017
Hello you beauties!
I am so happy to be bringing my first beauty box review of 2017 to you today! And what better than a really popular box. This month's Look Fantastic box has seemed really really popular and, if I'm completely honest, I don't see the hype. Yes it was a good box and I will use every product in it, but I personally didn't find it to be outstanding, or amazing.
First in the box, and of the skincare items, is the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask which is a product I have used before and absolutely love. The reason I've used it before is because it was one of the items in my first ever Look Fantastic box! I'm not mad that it's a repeat because this product was actually amazing and I ran out of it pretty quickly because it's been 9 months and I used it up pretty quickly.
Then there is the Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion and I am happy to see this product in the box as it is a brand that I love and I am always looking for a new toner to try out. It smells great too - a lovely floral scent. I can see myself using this product a lot. And possibly buying a full sized version of it in the the future.
The next items are all beauty items.
I was really excited to see a product from the Vintage Cosmetic Company in this month's box as I have heard that these are amazing products. I have used their brush cleaning tool before which is a brilliant product and I have been needing a new pair of tweezers for a while, so I am excited that their tweezers were featured in this month's box. They're so pretty too which will hopefully be better motivation for me to sort out my brows more often. Now all I need is their eyelash curlers (hint hint Look Fantastic!).
Then there is a Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara, and this really is not a brand I have ever heard of before. However, I really like trying out new mascaras so hopefully this one might become a new favourite of mine. The brush looks nice to use too (not too big but not too small) so hopefully it will give the perfect amount of volume and colour to it.
Next there is the Trifle Cosmetics Liquid Glow highlighter and again this is another brand that I have never heard of. However I always love adding new highlighters to my makeup collection so I am excited to try this one out. The only negative thing about this is that it is a liquid highlighter and I usually only use powder ones as I find them easier to use on top of a liquid foundation. This liquid highlighter isn't the easiest to blend either, so I'm going to have to try it out a few times before I decide if this product is worth it or not.
Finally we got a product from Pixi! I am so excited about this product, which is their translucent brow tamer. I have always wanted to try out their products but never really had the money to. So I'm really glad that this was included in this month's box as I can finally manage to build up my collection. I am always looking for great brow products too.
So overall I really did like this month's box but I wouldn't say it's outstanding. My Look Incredible boxes are still definitely a lot better than these, but the Look Fantastic ones are definitely worth the money. If you're looking for a beauty box but are on a budget, then I definitely would recommend these Look Fantastic boxes.
I hope you all liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends.

Soap & Glory Extravaglamza Makeup Set Review
Hello you beauties!
One of my New Year's Resolutions this year is to be more careful with my money. Obviously that didn't start until the 1st. So this New Year's Eve treat is something I really do not feel guilty about. I was actually looking at this before Christmas but it was a whopping £50 back then! Now, when I went, Boots was having a 50% off sale so I managed to buy this beautiful Soap & Glory set for just £25. What a bargain!
I have never really used Soap & Glory products before as they're slightly more expensive than products I usually go for. I have brought their Archery brow tint and pencil before which is a really great product so I was really excited to buy this set and to try out some of the best products that this brand has to offer.
First off, there is a Face Brush and an Eyeshadow Brush which I am excited to add to my makeup brush collection as they are both so soft and seem to be amazing quality. I especially love the eyeshadow brush, as eyeshadow is probably my favourite part of any makeup look so I am always needing new eyeshadow brushes. I love the matte black handles too, I'm just really worried in case I accidentally scratch it one day.
In this set there is also two mini Sexy Mother Pucker lipglosses, one in a baby pink shade called 'Candy Queen' and one in a dark purple pink shade called 'Plums Up'. I've heard many great things about these lipglosses so I was extremely excited to try them. They really do feel like they plump your lips and are not too sticky either. They're not massively pigmented but what else do you expect from lipglosses? They're not supposed to be massively pigmented.
Then there is the Glow All Out Highlighting Powder in the shade 'Shimmer Switch' which I am again so excited about because I love a good highlighter. It is a lovely pink shade, although I really haven't used pink toned highlighters before. I honestly do feel like this would be a brilliant highlighter for everyday use.
There is also the Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette which, if I'm completely honest, is probably my least favourite product in this set. Okay yes, I do really like it and I have always wanted to try out their eyeshadows but honestly, I already own eyeshadows that are such similar shades to these and pigmented better than these too. However, I will definitely use them at one point.
Then there is the ever so popular Thick & Fast Mascara which I have heard many great things about again. The brush looks great and looks like it'd give great volume but if I'm completely honest, I haven't tried it out yet. But I really can't wait to.
I was really happy to see the Supercat eyeliner in this set because it's something I've wanted to try for such a long time but never wanted to spend the money on it. The nib is great, and quite flexible too. The eyeliner is VERY black too which is great as it's hard to find eyeliners that are easy to use and look great too. I can't wait to try it out more and use it more regularly than I usually wear eyeliner.
Finally in the set there is the Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil. As I've told you, this is the first and only Soap & Glory product that I've used before and I think it's such a great product. It's probably my go to brow product at the moment. However, as I am naturally blonde, I usually go for the 'Love is Blonde' shade but the one in this set is the shade 'Brownie Points', so I wasn't too sure if this product would actually be much use for me. But after trying it out, as long as I use a steady and gentle hand, then I can get away with this one as it's not the darkest shade the brand offers and my eyebrows are naturally quite dark considering I'm a natural blonde. I am so happy to have another one now, ready for when my current one runs out.
I would definitely recommend that you treat yourself to this little set if you can still get your hands on it anymore, or just treat yourself to any Soap & Glory product because honestly it really is worth the money.
I'll be back on Saturday with another post for you all.

Byeee!

End of Year Favourites 2016
Hello you beauties!
Really can't believe it's 2017! In a few months time, it'll be the one year anniversary of my blog and I am honestly so excited for that day (there will be a very special post that day). If you've been a follower of this blog since that day, then thank you so much for the support and I hope that you enjoy the posts I'll be bringing you this year.
Today I'll be bringing you all my end of year favourites post. Usually I'd be writing a Monthly Favourites post but seeing as we are now in a new year, I thought it'd be best to reflect on the past year, beauty wise. Especially as this year has been so important for me.
So let's get started!
1. Sleek Solstice Highlight Palette
I never really loved highlighter until I bought this palette. I never really tried Sleek makeup until I made this purchase either and now I love it. The shades in this palette are so beautiful and the highlight is extremely intense and is great to add that special glow to any look.
2. Real Techniques Brushes
Before I bought these brushes, I only ever used to use the cheap makeup brushes that you can buy in the little sets from Argos, which were alright at first but I was desperate to own a real set of brushes. The Real Technique Brushes are all I could've ever asked for. They're so soft and such good quality and do such an amazing job at applying makeup. I couldn't recommend these highly enough and I have loved them so much over the past year.
3. Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Bronzer is one product I have always had problems with, as the only ones I have been able to afford recently seem to always make me look a little bit orange. But during the summer, I had the opportunity to try out a miniature version of this bronzer and honestly it is the most amazing makeup product I have ever used! It's not too hard and blends very easily.
4. Stila 'Eyes Are The Window' Eyeshadow palette
This is probably my favourite purchase of 2016. I saved up all my tips to buy this eyeshadow palette and it was definitely worth every penny. I got the 'Soul' palette and honestly these are shades that I use on an everyday basis, as they are the perfect nudes. They're so pigmented too and easy to blend, with a great mixture of matte and shimmer shades. All beauty lovers should have this palette as part of their collection.
5. Benefit Porefessional Primer
Yet another Benefit product. I really have loved Benefit this year. This primer is just perfect. It is really easy to use, is a great base and is great for the skin. I definitely would say that this primer is worth the price tag.
6. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I have never really thought that much about buying more expensive skincare products until I heard about the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. And this product has really done wonders for my skin this year! Not only does it make your skin look great, it also makes you feel great and extremely refreshed.
7. Princess Marcella Borghese Superiore State of the Art mascara
Really can't believe it's 2017! In a few months time, it'll be the one year anniversary of my blog and I am honestly so excited for that day (there will be a very special post that day). 7. Princess Marcella Borghese Superiore State of the Art mascara
Such a long name but also such an amazing mascara. I got this in a Look Incredible box a few months ago and I use it pretty much every day. It makes your eyelashes look great - not just good, but great! They add volume and really curl your eyelashes and make them look really black. This is definitely my mascara of the year.
8. Makeup Revolution Redemption Eyeshadow palette
I got this palette on day 25 of my Makeup Revolution advent calendar and although it's only been just over a week since I had the change to use it, I love it so much already. It's only worth about £4 and so I was expecting it to be not very good. However, it shocked me. These shades are mainly shimmer shades which I love and the ones in this palette have amazing pigmentation, a lot better than I expected.
9. MUA Blushers
These only cost £1 (so yes, I do own all of them!) and honestly I would be willing to pay more than that for these. They're so extremely pigmented and such great colours to use for any look. There's no fall out either, which is what you'd expect from such cheap products. I am glad to have added them to my makeup collection this past year.
It is strange. This time last year, my view on makeup was very different to how it is now. I did not really see the point in wearing it, and only wore it very rarely. Then something just changed, and now it is my biggest love in life. I couldn't possibly live without makeup in my life now and I could never imagine my life without this blog in it.
I'll be back on Wednesday with another post for you all.
I hope you liked this post. If you did, be sure to subscribe/follow, comment and share with friends!

What I Want To Happen In 2017
Hello you beauties.
Happy New Year! I can't believe it's 2017 already. I'll be 20 this year, this is so crazy! It is also my 100th post today (I am so happy this special number landed at the turn of a new year) which I am so happy about, I can't believe I've managed to keep this blog up and running for so long already.
While I'm not really the person to make New Years Resolutions, I do have my aims for the year which I try my best to work towards and achieve by the end of the year. So basically the same thing but I try to make them as realistic as possible. I usually only try and give myself just one or two goals for the year. Some things that I know I could achieve if I really really tried.
1. Get healthier
Not necessarily lose weight as such (even though that would be great) but just genuinely getting healthier. Cutting down on the bad foods and drinks and getting some more exercise into my day each day. I've actually already started this. I've been known to have the bad habit of drinking way too many fizzy soda drinks (such as coke and lemonade) so now I drink mainly water with my meals and in between meals. And if I fancy a bit of extra flavour, I drink flavoured water or squash. I feel healthier already and my skin is starting to feel great too.
2. Get A Level results I can be proud of
I've mentioned a couple of times that I've struggled a bit with my A Levels over the past few years, so I would love to be able to finally get good A Level results and get off to uni like I've always wanted to.
3. Move to Brighton
This has been a dream of mine for many, many years now and 2017 is the year it is finally (hopefully) going to come true. As far as I know, in September I will start studying at the University of Brighton and I cannot wait to live in such a beautiful city and study what I love.
So it's only a few things, but these are definitely the things that I want to happen so badly in my life. Please share with me your aims and goals for 2017, I would love to hear them!
I'll be back tomorrow with another post for you all!
